The Truth - 48
The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth
In Nigeria of today, things are really looking towards Golgotha
Just in one week
US Dollar is now on the top of the Iroko Tree
Price of fruits and other food items tripled
DSTV subscription increased
Electricity tarrif increased.
Petrol pump price increased.
Interest on fixed deposit in banks reduced to 1.25% from 3.75%.
Lending rate in double digits
Inflation on the rise - 12.5%
COVID-19 induced underemployment – quite high
Unemployment on the rise
COVID -19 induced job loss on the rise
BUT SALARY for those earning it has remained STATIC
And who are the bearers of all these burdensome increases – the same suffering masses
Under the circumstances, how does the average Nigerian make himself happy?
Positive Psychologists advise that we hang onto the hope that tomorrow will be better and always look on the brighter side of life.
Good as that may sound, is it not high time that you, yes YOU start doing something to help yourself out of the situation?
Is it not obvious to you that your personal economy can never grow if you are solely dependent on the government economy?
Have you not noticed that salary is not meant to make you rich but to keep you hanging onto the hope that ONE DAY you shall make it?
When will that ONE DAY come?
Any ways, this is a clarion call to you to come out of the self imposed comfort zone and start making haste while the sun is still shinning brighter.
Because when the cloud becomes darker it will be difficult to find the glimmer of light
Your salvation does not lie on the Government or the Church or Mosque or your Pastor or Imam.
Your salvation lies right in your own hands
Now that is *The Truth, the WHOLE Truth and nothing but the Truth*

Salary has never been a means for survival to those we seems to see it coming, it is always good to have another source of income apart from basic salary. Thank you for sharing

DeleteSalary is a means to live and stay afloat but whoever wants to really thrive and soar must establish multiple streams of income
The economy is devastating now. Everyone is tilting towards self emancipation. I am in for enterprenuership.
ReplyDeleteThe economy is in such a bad shape now but the personal economy of those who work outside of paid jobs is growing.
