The Great Dictator’s Speech-Charlie Chaplin’s Profound Message to Humanity

“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone – if possible – Jew, Gentile – black man – white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness – not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in.
Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.
Our knowledge has made us cynical.
Our cleverness, hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery we need humanity.
More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.
Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost….

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men – cries out for universal brotherhood – for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world – millions of despairing men, women, and little children – victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me, I say – do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed – the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. …..

Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes – men who despise you – enslave you – who regiment your lives – tell you what to do – what to think and what to feel! Who drill you – diet you – treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men – machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate – the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!

In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” – not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you!

You, the people have the power – the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Then – in the name of democracy – let us use that power – let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world – a decent world that will give men a chance to work – that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfill that promise. They never will!

Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfill that promise! Let us fight to free the world – to do away with national barriers – to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance.

Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!” ~ Charlie Chaplin

10 Ways To Be Poor And Remain Poor

1. Never wake up early...

Keep stretching & turning in bed until you, get too hungry to continue dozing if there are no bedbugs, why hurry to get up??

2. Never plan how to spend your money..

Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and recall how you spent it..

3. Don't think of saving until you have real big money...

How can you save when you earn so little?? Those telling you to save are not
sympathetic to your burning needs..

4. Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the " uneducated "...

How can you a graduate engage in petty trade or home based production?? That's for people who never went to school.

5. Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven & gives U capital..

How do they expect U to invest before U get millions of dollars?? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with a few hundred dollar, you as a smart person can only start with millons.

6. Complain about everything except your own attitude:

Blame the system the government & the banks that refuse to lend you money. They are all bad & do not want you to get rich.

7. Spend more than you earn.

To achieve this, buy consumer product on credit & keep borrowing
from friends & employers.

8. Compete in dressing.

Make sure you wear the latest clothes among all workers in your office..
Whenever your neighbour buys a new phone, u get one that is more expensive..

9. Get yourself a nice second hand car that costs more than three times your gross monthly pay..

10. Give your children everything they ask for since you're such a loving parent.

They should not struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer, that way, they will grow up lazy & hence poor enough to ensure they can't help you in old age...

Chase poverty away, embrace riches.

So you want to be FABULOUSLY RICH?
So you want to have so much to spend that nothing is a problem to you again except how to spend your money?

And you think the way to make the money is by lying on your bed and dreaming about it?
You think that the way to make money is by wishing for it?
You think that the best way to make money is by going for all night and asking God to do a miracle?
You think that the best way to make money is by pursuing every "man of God" that you hear of and receiving "anointing to make money"

hmmmmm

My dear, I am sorry to tell you today that NONE OF THESE CHANNELS would ever give you the money you need to be really rich.

While it is necessary to wish for money
While it is good to dream about money
While it makes a whole lot of sense to pray for money

but (and that's a big BUT) UNTIL YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT MAKING MONEY, the money that maketh rich and wealthy would never come!!!!! and that is the TRUTH

So you want to make money????

GO DO IT!!!!!!!

11 Choices Rich People Make That The Rest Of Us Don't

Rich people think and act differently than the rest of us. They aren't born with this "rich mentality" — they learn how and then choose to think and act this way.
It's a concept that has been in print for nearly a century — thanks to a journalist's research of more than 500 self-made millionaires in the early 20th century — and continues to gain relevance today.
In T. Harv Eker's bestselling book, "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind," the self-made millionaire identifies specific choices the wealthiest people make on a daily basis that most of us fail to emulate.
Here are 11 of them, with commentary from Eker's bestseller:

Rich people choose to be in control of their success.

"Rich people believe, 'I create my life,'" writes Eker, "while average people think, 'Life happens to me.'"
You have to be in control of your financial life, he emphasizes: "You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success, that you are the one who creates your mediocrity, and that you are the one creating your struggles around money and success. Consciously or unconsciously, it's still you."

Rich people choose to think big.

If not you, then who? That's how rich people think, Eker writes: "Big thinking and big actions lead to having both money and meaning."
"Most people choose to play small," he continues. "Why? First, because of fear. They're scared to death of failure and they're even more frightened of success. Second, people play small because they feel small. They feel unworthy. They don't feel they're good enough or important enough to make a real difference in people's lives."

Rich people choose to commit to attaining wealth.

Rather than wanting to be rich, wealthy people consciously commit to being rich.

"Getting rich takes focus, courage, knowledge, expertise, 100% of your effort, a never-give-up attitude, and of course a rich mindset," writes Eker. "If you are not fully, totally, and truly committed to creating wealth, chances are you won't."

They are able to fully commit because they have precise goals and a clear vision.

"The number one reason most people don't get what they want is that they don't know what they want," he continues. "Rich people are totally clear that they want wealth. They are unwavering in their desire ... As long as it's legal, moral, and ethical, they will do whatever it takes to have wealth."

Rich people choose to focus on opportunities.

Rather than focusing on obstacles like most people tend to do, rich people focus, and capitalize, on opportunities.
"Rich people see potential growth," writes Eker. "Poor people see potential loss. Rich people focus on the rewards. Poor people focus on the risks."

Rich people choose to play to win.

While rich people play to win, average people play to not lose, says Eker: "The goal of truly rich people is to have massive wealth and abundance. Not just some money, but lots of money."
If your goal is simply to be comfortable — to have enough money to survive — you probably won't strike it rich.
Eker writes: "When your intention is to have enough to pay the bills, that's exactly how much you'll get — just enough to pay the bills and not a dime more."

Rich people choose to hang out with other rich people.

"Successful people look at other successful people as a means to motivate themselves," writes Eker. "They see other successful people as models to learn from. They say to themselves, 'If they can do it, I can do it.'"
Rather than being jealous of other successful people, they are grateful for them, as they provide a template for how to attain such success.
"The fastest and easiest way to create wealth is to learn exactly how rich people, who are masters of money, play the game," he explains.

Rich people choose not to be derailed by their problems.

"The secret to success is not to try to avoid or get rid of or shrink from your problems; the secret is to grow yourself so that you are bigger than any problem," writes Eker.

"The road to wealth is fraught with traps and pitfalls, and that's precisely why most people don't take it. They don't want the hassles, the headaches, and the responsibilities. In short, they don't want the problems."

Rather than focusing on, or even noticing, the problems, the super successful focus on their goals, says Eker.

Rich people choose to focus on their net worth

"The true measure of wealth is net worth, not working income," writes Eker.
Net worth is the financial value of everything you own.
"[It] is the ultimate measure of wealth because, if necessary, what you own can eventually be liquidated into cash," writes Eker.

This One Habit Is Keeping You From Getting Rich - Must Read

A self-made millionaire says a seemingly innocuous daily habit could be keeping you from getting rich

Much of what separates wealthy people from average people is mental — rich people simply think, act, and make choices differently than the rest of us.
In "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind," author and self-made millionaire T. Harv Eker identifies a seemingly harmless daily habit average people engage in that the rich refuse to: complaining.
"Complaining is the absolute worst possible thing you could do for your health or your wealth," Eker writes.
When you complain, you're focusing on what is wrong with your life — and what you focus on tends to expand, Eker explains.
"Like attracts like," the self-made millionaire writes. "When you are complaining, you are actually attracting 'crap' into your life."
This leaves very little room for growth, particularly financial growth.
A fact often overlooked — or dismissed as elitist — is that your friendships and relationships could also have a major impact on your financial success. Steve Siebold, a self-made millionaire who interviewed over 1,200 rich people, found that the wealthy are deliberate about choosing their friends, and their choices have implications for their success and their net worth.
Eker makes a similar point about negativity. Separating yourself from other complainers is just as important as resisting the urge to complain personally, he emphasizes: "Negative energy is infectious. Plenty of people, however, love to hang out and listen to complainers. Why? It's simple: They're waiting for their turn!"
It's an easy cycle to fall into, but a costly one.
If you're in a financial rut, or looking to grow your wealth, stop complaining — out loud and in your head, Eker advises, and help yourself out by surrounding yourself with an upbeat, successful crowd.
"Remind yourself that you are creating your life and that at every moment you will be attracting either success or crap into your life," he writes. "It is imperative you choose your thoughts and words wisely!"

5 Things Successful People Do Each Morning

1.      They wake up early
Many successful professionals and political figures, from Square CEO Jack Dorsey to the U.K.’s former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, believe in an early start to the day.

If you’re a self-proclaimed night owl, consider taking this seven-day challenge set by Fast Company’s Rachel Gillett.

Click on the following link to find out what happened when Rachel and her readers woke up ‘insanely early’ for one week.

2.      They make time to exercise
Exercising, even for as little as 30 minutes each morning, can make a world of difference throughout your workday.

In fact, when you exercise in the morning, your metabolism gets triggered and remains elevated for hours, helping you feel energized throughout the day.

Carve out time in the morning, before your workday begins, to get in your workout.  C

3.      They eat a healthy breakfast
This one should be a no-brainer by now. Scientists and successful professionals alike have been lauding the benefits of a good breakfast for decades.

Breakfast provides the nutrients and energy needed to jump-start your day after fasting for six to ten hours overnight.

Willpower is also at its highest in the morning, so choosing a healthy breakfast sets the tone for the decisions made during the rest of the day.

Strapped for time? Prep your food the night before, and try out one of these 34 healthy breakfasts for busy mornings.

4.      They meditate
According to the Huffington Post, meditation helps lower stress levels, improve cognitive functioning, creative thinking and productivity, and can even improve your physical health.

Because of this, many corporate leaders are finding that meditation helps them deal with the stress and pace of their high-pressure roles.

Cisco System’s Chief Technology and Strategy Officer, Padmasree Warrior, told the New York Times that meditation “is like a reboot for your brain and soul.”

By taking a few minutes to meditate each morning, you can set your mind and body up for success during the rest of the day.

Check out this list of top meditation apps for your iPhone or Android to learn how to get started.

5.      They visualize their day
Benjamin Franklin had it right: “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” [TWEET]

Successful people tend to be notorious list-makers and planners.

Spend a few minutes in the morning mapping out the rest of the day, and which projects are most important to complete.

Prioritize these and get them done early in the day when your willpower is still high.

Think about how this day fits into your larger goals in life, and visualize what it will be like to get there.

Realizing your larger life goals helps keep your motivation high as you perform your least-favorite tasks.

Check These 10 Reasons Or You Will Never Become Rich

There’s an interesting maxim about how long wealth actually stays with a person and their descendants.

The saying is three generations, tops: one to make it, one to spend it, and the third to blow it.

Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, but have you ever sat down and seriously thought about wealth and what it means to you?

Or do you figure, “What the heck, I’ve always been broke, my forefathers were broke; it’s generational” – it’s just a rite of passage of sorts.

If you feel that wealth is out of your reach, you aren’t alone.

According to some experts, there are millions of ‘clueless potential millionaires’ who could be at the top of the wealth ladder if they only reined in a few bad habits.

However, you may be a skeptic, and rightly so.

Being wealthy means different things to different people. But according to the experts, there are financial mistakes many people make that keep them away from their possible wealth.

What is Wealth Anyway?
Most people do not equate wealth with a mansion or a big yacht.

In fact, a scanty 7% of people surveyed associate wealth with material possessions like cars, houses and boats.

Rather, to many, being rich means having just enough to not worry about the next payday – that’s according to 33% of those questioned.

An additional 26% define being wealthy, or rich, as having more than enough money to quit their jobs.

Still, few people place an actual dollar amount on what it means to be wealthy.
Only 17% felt that being rich means having at least $1 million or more, and 11% stated a six-figure yearly income would make them feel rich.

Yet most people who are rich don’t even consider themselves rich.

Maybe it’s because being ‘rich’ or ‘wealthy’ has very little to do with material possessions, and more to do with how people feel about themselves.

Nonetheless, according to financial experts you will never be rich if you are bogged down by anything on the following list:

1. Overspending
If you have a ferocious appetite for spending beyond your means, you’re not alone.

According to a survey, of the 52% of people who habitually overspend, many balance the shortfall by taking from their savings, and 22% rely on credit cards.

Blowing all your money each month is not a realistic pathway to wealth.

Start tracking where your money goes each month, check where you can cut back, and create a ‘realistic’ budget that allows you to pay your bills and invest in a retirement account or an emergency fund.

2. Not Saving Enough
Welcome to the club! The personal savings percentage in the US is a measly 4.9% of disposable income.

Saving should become a priority if you want to accumulate wealth. Start with an emergency fund.

Once your emergency fund is substantial, you can redirect small amounts toward other goals like purchasing a home or paying for college.

3. You Have Too Much Debt
Certain debts are a precursor to financial success, like purchasing real estate or starting a business; however, a high-interest credit card balance is not. Pay off credit cards with the highest rates first.

4. You Don’t Have a Plan
Without a definite, clearly defined plan, becoming rich will seem like an unbelievable dream.

This alone will solidify your excuses for overspending and not saving.

As the saying goes, “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”

Putting together a financial plan may seem tedious, but it doesn’t have to be, and you can get used to it.

5. You Don’t Have an Emergency Fund

Experts say you need at least six months of income saved in case of an emergency.

Life is tricky, and not having some type of safety net can turn a comfortable situation into a disaster.

6. You Started Late
Time is slipping by. Just like starting an exercise routine, the most difficult part about saving is getting started.

Even if you have debt, a small income, or many expenses, you can save something, even if it’s only a small amount.

7. You Complain Rather Than Commit
“I don’t earn enough money”; “Life is too expensive”; “It’s hopeless, I’ll never get out of debt.”

Have you uttered any of these statements before, or perhaps all of them?

Old habits die hard; however, as long as you do nothing to change, nothing will change.

Stop complaining and making excuses.

Instead, take responsibility for your non-productive habits and concentrate on how to change them – and then do it!

8. You Live for Today, and Forget About Tomorrow
It’s no fun getting serious and thinking about retirement and all that stuff.

Nonetheless, eventually it has to be done.

The problem is that impulsive and unregulated spending leads to debt… period!

Do yourself a big favor: Get rid of the ‘buy now, worry later’ attitude, and switch to a ‘save now, get rich later’ way of thinking.

9. Putting All Your Eggs in One Basket

You might get lucky by wagering all your money on one type of investment. Just like you might get lucky winning the lottery.

But that’s not a strategy to live by, or for getting rich.

Putting all your money in one place is not advised because it puts you at too much risk.

Your investment portfolio should include multiple investments with varied levels of risk and ROI potential and liquidity.

10. You Just Don’t Get It!
You may be one of those people who believe that somehow something will come along and save you, so why bother with saving or trying to get out of debt?

Maybe you will get lucky and land a fantastic job, receive a big pay raise, inherit money, hit the lottery, or whatever! But ‘whatever’ won’t cut it if you really want to become rich.

Yes, life is uncertain. No one knows what will, or will not, actually happen; therefore, why not focus on what you can control today?

Get it together now and save yourself, in case someone or something else won’t.

One thing you can be sure of: You are already rich.

Think about it. If someone came to you and offered you a million dollars for your arm, would you give it up?

Why not, you have two; you can surely spare one of them!

Of course the answer would be no!

Being rich is more than physical ownership; it’s a state of happiness and well-being, while wishing the same for others.

So while you are working on getting rich materially, remember to be happy along the way!
