Do This One Thing If You Desire Success

We all, irrespective of our gender or creed or tribe or tongue desire to be successful in whatever we do however we know that there is a big difference between a desire to get something or be something  and actually getting or being that thing.

Whatever desire we have, if it is not backed up with an actionable plan would certainly remain in the realm of desire and cannot be actualized.

And so to achieve our desire and make it a success, we have to put action into the works.

The challenge, therefore, lies in putting action to the works to enable us to achieve our desire and this is because the default setting of our mindset is that of being comfortable even in failure. Our mindsets are stewed and garnished in negativity.

It is the fear mentality that breeds the negativity in us - the fear of failure which suspends us in mid-air when we want to try out something new, the fear of what people will say if we fail, the fear of the embarrassment of failure, the fear of getting marked for life - this fear is very palpable and stops us in our tracks when we want to launch out thus making us dilly dally and procrastinate.

So the bad news is that negativity is an enemy of success - infact it kills success

And here some facts to prove that negativity kills success

1.     Negativity suppresses your prefrontal cortex,
which is critical for creativity, decision-making and seeing solutions rather than just problems.

2.     Negativity creates chronic stress, which causes inflammation throughout the body and can lead to disease.
When you are battling health problems, it's hard to focus on anything, let alone the pursuit of success.

3.     Negativity can make you a toxic person. A toxic person is a pessimist and is never a good company any day except in the company of other pessimists

4.     Negativity rubs off even on your mode of dressing, the way you talk and even the way you walk.
This will surely make people avoid you like the bubonic plague

5.     Negativity keeps you secluded in your own World. And as you know, no man is an island.
So, if you earnestly desire success, there's just one thing to do - kill negativity and take a quantum jump over to positivity

By so doing, you would  make it possible for you to succeed.

In the next post, I shall let you know the actions to take in the positivity arena that would take you to your success.

Can You Do it?

Hello,

I have something to say to you

Don't you ever let someone or anyone tell you that you can't do something or anything you've set your heart on doing; so long as it will further your purpose on earth -

Don't listen to anyone - not your Mum, not your Dad, not your Teachers, not your best Uncles and Aunts and definitely not your peers and senior friends.

You have a dream? then you have to make great efforts to shield and protect your dream from dream killers.

Just because those people could not do what you want to do, does not in any way mean that you can't do it.

That they failed is the main reason why they project their failure to you by saying that you can't' do it but that's a big fat lie - you can do whatever you set your sights on doing and have a singleness of mind to pursue it to its logical conclusion.

You want something - Go get it period.

We are afraid not because we are inadequate, we are afraid because we are powerful beyond measure.

It's our light and not our darkness that most frightens us.

Your playing small in this world does not serve any purpose

There's  nothing enlightening about shrinking so that all those around you won't feel inferior;

we are meant to shine like children of light.

That Light is not just in some of us, it is in all of us and as we let our light shine, we constantly give other people permission to do the same - to let their own light shine too

As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others

Dream big
Never give up
help other people to achieve success and you will be successful

Remember, never ever give anyone permission to say to you that you can't do it because you can

Thanks for reading our Blog Post, kindly share this with your friends on social media and also watch the video below

You Can't Win If You Don't Try

In this life time, I have met a number of persons who are specialists in complaining but come short in action.

They have all the adjectives and anecdotes to describe their failures and frustrations but never lift a finger to help themselves.

They are very willing to blame everything and anything for how their lives suck but never themselves.

They are good, infact very good at practicing the age old excuse of man - "passing the buck"

They take no responsibilities, they bear no flakes, they keep pushing away and never pulling in.

I am sure you would have met such people too or you might even be one.

Well, today I just want to tell you that there is no substitute to ACTION if you want to succeed.

It is very possible for you to be WHATEVER you want to be, but that won't happen on a platter, you must be ready to WORK on it and work is an action.

Who amongst you wanting to be a Medical Doctor would sit down in his father's house, fast and pray about it and expect to be a Medical Doctor?

Would you not rather earnestly desire to be apprenticed to a renowned Medical Doctor so that you can learn the skills from him and also become proficient yourself?

And that applies to whatever, anyone wants to be whether it is being a Lawyer or an Architect or an Engineer or a Computer Scientist or a Tanker Driver or a Bricklayer e.t.c.

Stories abound of how people have changed their destinies because they took action on what they wanted to be.

I have my story too

The only way to win at the game of life is to try!!!
The only way to succeed at whatever you set your eyes on is to work at it

You can't win, if you don't try

So try!!!
Even if you fail, try again and again and again until you succeed.
Because "failure is an orphan but success has many relations"

A song lyrics go like this

"if you try and fail
Don't ever give up
But remember
life is what you make it ......."

Nothing gladdens the heart more than being successful at one's chosen desire

When you are what you really wanted to be, even your entire environment is at peace with you just as you are with it

So, today, TRY

4 Ways Solitude Can Make You More Successful

Some people believe that three is a crowd.
When it comes to work, others think that two is just one too many. Solitude can do wonders when it comes to planning, productivity, attitude, and decision making — assuming, of course, you're of the right mindset.
Do you think Steve Jobs came up with all his brilliant ideas when Jony Ive was nagging him to go to Starbucks? Or that the Dalai Lama's many philosophical insights came while crammed into a meeting room with the other Lamas?
There are many benefits to individualism and working alone, allowing the mind to focus, free of distraction. For every worker pleased to be in an open-plan free-for-all, from time to time, we all need space to let our creative juices flow.

1. Reject peer pressure when it comes to decision making

How can a leader make a decision with office "yes" men or women backing them to the hilt, perennial naysayers dragging things down, and those with agendas playing their own angles? It may be done for dramatic effect, but you'll notice Donald Trump always turfs out the candidates before deciding who's fired!
Your own confidence can take a hit in the melee of decision making. While it's good to talk, that final decision, if it rests on your shoulders, should be made alone, without the bickering and vitriol of most heated meetings with arguments and counterarguments raging.
Ensure you have all the notes and evidence on hand, but take the big plunge having considered all the information, distilling it into high-level pros and cons, without the pressure of everyone staring at you.

2. Time to think creatively and deeply

Being alone also helps drive focus and creativity. Steve Wozniak basked in the monastic atmosphere of his HP cubicle overnight, where he toiled after work hours on his first computer design. Even if you're doing fairly standard work, doing it alone is likely to be more productive than doing it with others, as highlighted by research into built-in response-interpretation mechanisms.
They suggest that if someone else is in the room, or in sight, your mind can waver, causing you to think about what that person is doing. It can be quite distracting. If you're  not sure about the benefits, try some simple time-based experiments to see how much more productive you are when working alone.

3. Artists work alone

Much of great art, musical works, and literature were built alone by people trying to focus on their opus. Be it a business plan, a project or other creation, the modern world is full of advice, assistance, help forums, and other sources of inspiration. However, at some point you need to lock yourself away from all that and focus on the task at hand.
Some of this might be down to personality traits or mental issues, but for others, the flow of interruptions may simply be too great to let creative juices flow. That's why anyone trying to solve a problem or craft a master plan should take plenty of alone time to get their head around the issues.

4. The thrill of the fix

Working alone means facing the challenge of solving the problems on the table without support. To some people, solving those problems is all the fun, while being alone allows anyone to thoroughly weigh up the consequences against the reward of a solution.
Setting short-term goals prevents burnout through stressing over one over-complicated boondoggle. Breaking those problems down helps the brain provide the necessary power to crunch through these problems and provides the great feeling that can drive people to becoming successful at working alone.
If you've never had the chance to try working alone, and find yourself frustrated or mired in more collaborative settings, then now is the opportunity to see if you're off better going solo.

You Want To Be Successful? - This Word Might Offend You

There's a four letter word that I've found upsets a LOT of people online.

And it doesn't just upset.

Some people it flat out offends them.

Want to know what it is?

It's nothing rude, or profane.

It's this...

"WORK"

That's it.

That's the one thing that I tell people they need to do in order to be really successful.

Put in some actual WORK and don't stop until you get results.

I don't mean being "busy".

Being busy does not mean you're doing work.

So checking facebook = busy

Reading the warrior forum = busy

Forever 'planning' your product = busy

Here's the cold, hard truth...

NONE of that busy work is going to make you money.

If you really want to be successful, you have to be prepared to pull your socks up and put in some ol' fashioned
elbow grease.

Building a business that makes six figures a year isn't always easy.

But...

I PROMISE you it's worth the effort.

If you want to see EXACTLY how to do that AND you're not afraid of the four letter word, then drop a comment here and we shall take it up from there

To your success

9 Weird Habits Of Highly Successful Business Leaders

The most-successful leaders often do things their own way. Maybe you should too.

Over the years, I've read far more books on leadership than I can count.

To be honest, most of these books stick with a tried-and-true formula that doesn't stray too far outside the norm.

For example, pick up any book on leadership, and you're sure to read about empowerment and teamwork and inspiring creativity.

But guess what? Highly successful leaders don't always stick with the advice repeated over and over again in these leadership books.

In fact, they often have their own weird habits that help them get things done.

Here are some of the most interesting.

1. Mark Zuckerberg: yearly resolutions
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg sets tests of discipline for himself each year.

In 2009 his challenge was to wear a tie to work each day, and in 2011 it was to personally kill any animal he ate.
This year's challenge is to read a new book every two weeks.

2. Steve Jobs: foodie
Steve Jobs was famous for eating only one type of food for weeks at a time.

He once became so convinced of the virtues of eating carrots that his skin was reported to have turned orange from eating so many of them in a short period of time.

3. Marissa Mayer: micromanager
Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, is reported to personally approve every new hire in her company of more than 12,500 employees.

4. Mark Parker: brain balancer
Nike CEO Mark Parker has a notebook that he uses to keep the two sides of his brain balanced.

While one page in the notebook is devoted to business brainstorming, the opposite page is used for sketches.

5. Donald Trump: germophobe
According to reports, real estate developer Donald Trump has a phobia for germs.

He avoids shaking hands with the people he meets, he will not touch an elevator button, and he once passed out bottles of hand sanitizer to reporters at a press conference.

6. Bill Gates: rocker
Former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates was known for rocking in his chair during business meetings. The more excited he was (in a good or bad way), the more he rocked.

7. Jeff Bezos: memo writer
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos requires senior executives to draft six-page memos in advance of meetings.

These memos are then read in silence during the first 30 minutes of every senior executive meeting.

8. Henry Ford: weed eater
Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford reportedly savored sandwiches made from "roadside greens"-weeds grown in his yard.

9. Martha Stewart: demanding boss
Martha Stewart is reported to allow only red or black ink to be used in her offices, and that employee desks be completely clear at the end of each business day.

How To Make People Think You Are Successful Within Five Seconds Of Meeting Them

“You shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover” — we’ve all heard it, we all do it. We shouldn’t, but it’s practically instinctual.

Of course, life and business are simpler when you boil it down to statistics — most people will make a ton of assumptions about you within the first five seconds of meeting you in regard to your attractiveness, potential for success, personality, etc.

When you bring business into the mix, first impressions of new colleagues and connections can be crucial.

So within those first five seconds of meeting someone, how do you give off an aura of success?

The answer is simple — look the part. Of course, that all stops as soon as you open your mouth to speak, so you’ll at least have to sound smart as well.

It might sound obvious, but a 2011 Canadian study involving 87 university students found that professionally dressed men came off as more successful and were expected to make more money.

The sloppily dressed men were expected to be made fun of at work.

A more recent 2013 Turkish study closed in on what exactly a man should wear to come off as more successful, and the answer is not surprising.

“The man was rated more positively on all attributes apart from trustworthiness when pictured in the bespoke suit … On the evidence of this study it appears men may be advised to purchase clothing that is well‐tailored, as it can positively enhance the image they communicate to others.”

So in a manner of speaking, success, or at least the look of success, can be bought at your local tailor.

Additionally, a 1990 study found that women who dress more masculine, even though some might consider it sexist, and wear outfits and suits with straight silhouettes, angular lines and darker colors, are more hireable.

So the lesson here is if you want to come off as successful in those first five seconds of meeting someone, whether you are a man or woman, wear a suit. Look nice.

Comb your hair, trim your nails and shave if you have to.

That Zuckerberg jeans-and-hoodie look only works after you are a billionaire.

Don’t try to look hot or sexy either, as that actually lowers other people’s perception of your power and success.

Holding a glass of Scotch while wearing a suit will either give you a ton more swagger and/or make you look like an alcoholic — the gamble is yours to make.
