All people that on earth do dwell

Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice

Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell

Come ye before Him and rejoice

The Lord ye know is God indeed

Without our aid He did us make

We are His folk, He doth us feed

And for His sheep He doth us take

O enter then His gates with praise

Approach with joy His Courts unto

Praise, Laud and Bless His Name always

For it is seemly so to do

For why the Lord our God is good

His mercy is for ever sure

His truth at all times firmly stood

And shall from age to age endure

To Father Son and Holy Ghost

The Lord Whom Earth and Heaven adore

From men and from the angels host

Be praise and glory ever more

The spacious firmament on high

With all the blue ethereal sky

And spangled heavens a shinning frame

Their great Original proclaim

The unwearied sun from day to day

Does his Creator's Power display

And publishes to every land

The works of an Almighty Hand

Soon as the evening shades prevail

The moon takes up the wondrous tale

And nightly to the listening earth

Repeats the story of her birth

whilst all the stars around her burn

And all the planets in their turn

Confirm the tidings as they roll

And spread the truth from pole to pole

What though in solemn silence all

Move round the dark terrestrial ball

What though nor real voice nor sound

Amid their radiant orbs be found

In reason's ear they all rejoice

And utter forth a glorious voice

For ever singing as they shine
