Have You Ever Hit A Brick Wall?

Have You Ever Hit A Brick Wall?

You were coasting on the home run

You had all your acts together and things were looking up and couldn't have been any better

You were certainly sure that nothing can possibly go wrong and spoil all your plans

You were already announcing to all who cared to listen that you have finally made it

And then

out of the blues, just when no one expected it, a BRICK WALL appeared right before your very own eyes, suddenly your work comes crumbling down in front of you and you are just about to lose your sanity

But listen, I want to let you know that the brick walls are there for a reason.

The brick walls are not there to keep us out. They are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something, because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.

And so if you really want it that bad as you want air when you find yourself in a room with no ventilation and you are suffocating, then you would find a way to get back to where you were and then hit home dry.

That's a great message for today

Cheers

"Blessed are the desperate for they shall obtain their breakthrough". All brick walls are surmountable. You can:
      1. Climb over it
      2. Walk round it
      3. Burrow a hole through it
      4. Blast it with dynamite

Whatever way (amongst the 4 listed above) you think will be easier and best for you, pls carry it out. Never you resolve to fate when faced with a brick wall. If you do, you lose out completely. No matter what happens, the choice is yours.

  2. I will link the brick wall to obstacles on our journey through life which a mature mind knows will always rear it's ugly head as last LIFE is not a bed of roses. The determined mind will not be discouraged or stopped by the brick wall even if it entails starting afresh. That is the mentality and attitude of winners as winners never quit as quitters never win. Wishing you a great week !

  4. Brick walls like obstacles make us stronger and more focused. Dare I say if you've not hit a brick wall, maybe you're not on the right path or you're not going as fast as you should. We ought not to be discouraged by brick walls, they give us time and space to retreat, re-strategize and return with a bang. Remember a life without challenges is more like a freeway. Challenges and brick walls are our evidence of progress and growth because when one overcomes, you will be more fired to fly!!!!!

  6. It cannot be overemphasized that passion in many instances drives change. On the other hand, we must appreciate the fact that success in life is not for the swift or strong but the Lord that showeth mercy. In other words, we can be successful in every facet of life not by our power but by Providence. So while we strive by strength, let's also accommodate the place of divinity. May God help us. Thank you Sir for this thought. It is a pointer to the projection of what is possible.

    1. It is popularly said that life is what happens when one is busy planning his life and usually it is a reminder that we are on planet earth for experiences. Brick walls remind us that we are here to conquer and dominate and that if we are not doing that, we are not living out our full potentials

  7. No matter how hard or insurmountable a task is, with dogged determination and obsession to succeed, we will always find a way to move on and achieve our target. Yes the brick wall like challenges are there to test the level of our obsession, so if we are not so enthusiastic about the success it will block us up, for other who are obsessed to climb it and achieve the result. Let us learn to be obsessed about our desires.

    1. Great one from the wise man Solomon
Obsession for success is the driver of most persons who are bold and daring, They do not wait to be told what to do when they are down, they accept the failure and then rise up to continue to march forward
Get obsessed with living life to the fullest, to the max

  8. There will always be an obstacle no matter how perfect things might be. We need to learn how to manage those challenges, they are actually what makes the journey a smooth one. Learn to take advantage of any obstacle you think is obstructing your way, there is always a reason for th, look inward and you will find yourself becoming more grateful. Thank you for this morning juice.

  9. The brick wall illustration quickly brings to mind the saying 'no pains, no gains'. We need some pressures to be strong and focused.

  11. When life present us with rosy fares, it's difficult to get the whole extent of life. Life is not designed to run on a rollercoaster ride, there are supposed to these hitches and brick walls to expose us to the other sides of life.

Yeah, I concur totally with the convener on this post. Speed kills most times mostly when care was not deployed in the driving. Sometimes bumbs stops the unwarranted acceleration. Thanks once more for the message. It sank in very well.

Lessons learnt here are enormous seriously.

    1. Brick walls appear when life thinks that we are overdoing ourselves and they are meant to bring us back to ground level

Life can be uncertain.. All we can do is prepare for the unexpected but always hope for the best. We are created by God and his word makes us understand that he will never let anything we can't handle hit us. Even as wealth creator's one thing we know can never overlook is room for "emergencies" and unexpected "eventualities".

I tell you this...when life throws its punch at you..as a winner you are, absorb it and tell life that you have been ready to conquer right from when you were born..
