The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth

 

If you have ever been sick in your life, this testimony below from a 69 year old woman would make a load of sense to you

"Today I’m sitting in my hospital bed waiting to have both my breasts removed. But in a strange way, I feel like the lucky one. Until now I have had no health problems. I’m a sixty-nine-year-old woman in the last room at the end of the hall before the pediatric division of the hospital begins. Over the past few hours I have watched dozens of cancer patients being wheeled by in wheelchairs and rolling beds. None of these patients could be a day older than seventeen."

Does that resonate with you?

At 69, she had had no health challenge until cancer was detected in her system and instead of being nihilistic about it, she was expressing gratitude because she was seeing much more younger persons being taken to the Wards because of same ailment.

What lesson does one have to learn from this testimony?

It should remind us that there is always, always something to be thankful for. And that no matter how good or bad we have it right now, we must wake up each day thankful for our lives, because someone, somewhere is desperately fighting for theirs.

Education is said to be a tool to liberate the mind of men and make them more humane as humans.

Has Education actually lived up to that billing? or have the educated failed Education?

Those who made such sweeping statement about education as I said in paragraph 1 above did not take into cognizance the noisome pestilence that ethnicity and religion constitute in the life of men to the point that no matter how educated anyone may be, those primordial sentiments of where I come from and what my religion is will always take precedence over whatever else is good about a situation or a person I have to deal with.

If education is really impacting on those educated, then why would an educated fellow allow himself to be used as a willing tool to rig an election for an uneducated fellow who happened to be a money bag? 

Why would an educated fellow be making excuses for failure of those in power simply because they belong to the same religion or come from the same place? Or why would an educated fellow be hailing someone in governance who apparently is just speaking too much English with little or nothing to show for his governance status?

I could go on and on but the point has been made.

The Educated have failed Education and she is so highly disappointed

It is true that life and the living of it comes with no manual, however, it is said that he who hit the ground first is certainly wiser and more knowledgeable about the goings on, than he who just arrived.

In that saying lies the fact that whatever anyone wants to be in this life, however anyone wants to live, some one,  some where at a some time, has been it or lived it.

Or infact that some one is actually living it right next to the searcher.

While not trying to be a copy-cat but anyone can copy and paste the lifestyle he wants to have by simply following the steps of someone who has either lived it or is currently living.

That is called Mentorship.

With mentorship the learning curve is abridged to the minimal length

Life without a Mentor is a hard task Master.

Get a Mentor today.

The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth

I am an Advocate of hard work, no doubt about that, I believe that hard work has never killed anyone. But I have come to see men and women confuse hard work with hard labour.

Hard work is putting in an honest day's job for an honest day's pay. It is about giving your best while you are at work. It is about understanding your role and position in the work place and appropriately filling that position and carrying out the functions and duties assigned to the role. It is about team work and division of labour where every team member plays their own role. It is about understanding that there should be job progression through the same ladder that you used to climb to the top and that no one should be stalled because of lack of space at the top. It is all about being conscious of the fact that no one is indispensable.

Contrariwise, hard labour is about carrying upon your shoulders all the work that is supposed to be shared out to others to do. It is about having that over-bloated ego that without you nothing can work. It is about working yourself to death because you think that you are the only one who can do a perfect job. It is about thinking that you are the Master and Lord of the Manor and others around you are just necessary miscreants cast in the mold of the devil himself - mere minnows . It is about climbing to the top, destroying the ladder you used to get there because you want no competition and then sitting down there with an open anal cavity and pouring putrid faeces down the heads of those below.

By this piece, I am sounding you out and bringing it to your ego that no one is indispensable. No matter how much your protect your position, one day, just one day, you either leave it by way of retirement or by way of answering the eternal call and when that happens, and because nature abhors vacuum, that space shall be filled rapidly with another whether the shoe is tight or loose is quite immaterial.

It is high time people understood the difference between hard work and hard labour and start promoting team work and all that makes for better working relationships.

Still on the world's new normal, job losses have become frequent and unpredictable.

In the USA alone, more than 30 million Americans have lost their jobs since February 2020 - just within some 5  months.

In Nigeria, many jobs have been lost, and those that have not lost theirs would likely lose it in the coming months as the china originated virus keeps wreaking havoc on personal and national economies and increasing the death toll on daily basis.

I can hear someone say "it is not my portion!" well nothing is anybody's portion but time and chance happen to all in this spatial place.

This is the time to live and work smartly.

Technology is making life and the living of it easier, the internet has disrupted many highways and brought them to your living room right there in your smart phone - use it.

Stop carrying big phones around just to show off, use your phone and make a living.

Now, that is the Truth, the WHOLE Truth and nothing but the Truth

The advent of china originated corona virus in December 2019 has changed the social demographics of the world.

And no matter how much we pretend, it is obvious that there is a new normal and that the world is not likely to go back to the old ways of doing things in the coming years.

One of the things adversely disrupted by the new normal imposed by corona virus is brick and mortar business (you know that business you do in which you hustle from sun up to sun down to earn some income, where you have a kind of shop and sell something) - yes that kind of business, it is going out of fashion and with the speed of light. If you are a business owner, the time to start thinking of the best way to re position your business for profit is now.

The World has gone digital and any business owner that means business must have to follow the World to where it is going to.

Don't wake up one morning and find that you no longer have a business.

Now is the  time to take your business to the internet even if you have no atom of idea on how to do that. You can always learn.

Every man born of a woman and every woman sired by a man has a destiny built into the lines and creases of his or her body.

But, you won't walk into your destiny if you keep letting people who belong in your past create emotional road blocks for you.

We all have a past but the worst disservice any man or woman can do to himself or herself is to allow the past to control his or her life

Stop giving your past permission to hold your destiny hostage.

At some point, you have to be willing to accept responsibility for taking out the emotional blocks in your life.

You don't need to pray for understanding when God is giving you proof.

If you exercise insight and find out that your power to claim your destiny is being drained by them - critics , that is the proof that you need to remove them

So, go ahead and delete all toxic persons and situations around you in order to flow seamlessly into your destiny

Now, that is  *the Truth, the WHOLE Truth and nothing but the Truth*
