How Can We Make This Monday Count?

How do you feel towards Monday?
Are you grumpy over it because the weekend and all its relaxation and quiet times have ended or are you excited that a new day is in town?

It's actually a feeling that you have control over. You have a choice to make when it comes to how you take Monday.

Is Monday a chore and a bore or is it eclectic and exciting? That is the question

But whatever the answer you give, you can actually make Monday count and here's how to

1.    Think positively

Living life on the positive lane has its many rewards and advantages.
a.    You have the assured feeling that the fact that something is difficult does not make it impossible; b.      you find yourself having the confidence that no matter what comes your way, you would overcome it;
c.    you enjoy a coaster-ride with the train of happiness even if your insides are churning up because you know that nothing lasts forever and that no condition is permanent and so you won’t let unhappiness and sadness ruin your Monday.

2.    Be Enthusiastic About Life

Let all who come across you feel your enthusiasm about life and living.

You know that if you are alive and well, you are far better off than all those who died over the night and all those who found themselves in the hospitals.

Life has to be lived, and you are here to live it to the hilt today.

3.    Be Hopeful

There's nothing anyone on earth can do without hope.

It is said that in the face of calamities, hope is usually the last thing to be ditched and there are really no hopeless situations.

Exercising hope shows a belief in a Supernatural being Who is over all

4.    Show Some Love

It is love not money that makes the world go round and once you have love, you definitely have everything.

This Monday show some love
Reach out to the fatherless, the motherless, the homeless, the elderly, let them feel that someone else cares

5.    Motivate Someone

Be a motivator, be a mentor to someone today.
It does not cost much

6.    Expect The Best From Others

The times we are in do not seem to encourage us to get out of ourselves but in life we cannot afford to be too selfish and too self-centred.

Giving others a benefit of the doubt is one way to make friends and retain them

Today, have a good expectation from others.

Make this Monday count - however you can

Enjoy your Monday

You Are The CEO Of Your Own Life

Do you know that we all have just ONE LIFE to live?

Do you know that when a man is dead, his own Christ has come?

Do you know that all our struggles to be anything are only here on earth and that though no one has come back from the dead to let us know how their own world is but the Scriptures make us understand that the dead have no emotions, no memories and nothing alive again in them

Knowing all these therefore, what are we supposed to be doing with the daily opportunity we have to still be on this side of eternity?

Picture your life as a Corporate entity, do you know that you are the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of your life?

When God created you, He gave you the Power of Choice, so instead of living your life by chance, you can really live it by choice!!

As the CEO of Your life, it is your responsibility to make it a success with numerous dividends on all fronts

Take control of your life today and be the best you can be while you still have the opportunity

International Day Of Happiness

Every year on the 20th of March, the World celebrates International Day of Happiness.

The essence is to help world citizens keep at bay all issues that buffet them in their lives and just be happy.

I keyed into this maxim so many years ago when I realized that my happiness is really not dependent on the things I have achieved in life or the things I own, not even in the Wife and Children but in knowing that Christ came and died for me and that God is always there with and for me despite the circumstances and situations.

But I know that some people still think that their happiness is dependent on achieving one thing or the other; if only they can learn from me that happiness is not an event but a journey.

If your happiness is dependent on your achievements, then it will always be ephemeral and transient, because as soon as the euphoria of the achievement wears off, you enter into a despondent mood again.

When your happiness streams from inside because of the love of God in you, no matter what is happening around you, you'd always muster the courage to be happy.

Though we keep getting bad news about persons who take their own lives, it is really tragic but no one has the right to take his or her own life NO MATTER WHAT.

No matter how much the vicissitudes of life bellow on us, SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION

Today, just be happy and enjoy your life

2017 Is Around The Corner - Are You Ready To Take It By Storm??

Wow! It happened so fast, 2016 is about to come to an end.

I see people running around to get, holiday gifts, making holiday plans and that's when it hit me... another year is about to come to an end.

How did 12 months just fly by?!!

Another year over and now it's time to get ready for 2017 and it's not just about making resolutions.

I'm not a big fan of resolutions.

I prefer making real changes, lifestyle changes, health changes, financial changes, family changes, relationship changes and all kinds of changes.

I usually write out what I want to change, improve or achieve. I give everything some real thought and that means getting really specific so that I set goals that I can measure.

By setting a goal you can actually measure you can see if you're making any progress, how far away you are from reaching your goal and what you can do to achieve that goal.

For example: if your goal is to get a new job in 2017 then you can easily measure if you achieve this goal. You either get the job or you don't. You can do certain things to help you achieve your goal of getting a job.

It's pretty simple and the best time to begin setting those goals for next year is right now.

I know you may be busy with the holiday season however, right now is the best time.

You can easily look back and see what goals you did and didn't achieve.

You can simply think about it and then decide what you want to achieve for next year.

Maybe there's a goal you didn't achieve last year that you really want to achieve, so make it a goal for 2017.

Maybe there are some new goals you want to achieve.

Write them down and aim to succeed in 2017.

Once you have your goals, write them down.
And then think about them.

Think about what you can do to achieve them.

Think about how important they are to you and by that I mean think about how achieving a goal will change your life.

When you have a life changing goal you want to achieve you have a goal that motivates you to succeed.

Let's face it, if achieving the goal isn't going to improve your life,  you're not going to want to pursue it.

Most goals are life changing.

However, most people simply don't think about how achieving a goal will change their lives and so they lose their motivation.

They think about all the little things that need to get done, like going to the gym or getting a savings plan together, or taking an extra course
or changing certain habits.

They end up losing sight of the real reason they want to succeed.

So keep your reason for achieving your goal at the forefront of your mind. It will help you stay motivated and stay focused.

When you're motivated and focused you're more likely to succeed and achieve your goal.

However, when you try to stay motivated and focused you might get derailed by a series of negative thoughts.

If you've tried to achieve a goal in the past and haven't succeeded then you're going to get a lot of negative thoughts that will convince
you to give up, not do anything or force you to get distracted. In the end you don't achieve the goal and don't even come close.

It's just the way the mind works. And it gives you the negative feedback because those negative thoughts are planted on your subconscious mind.

Now you need to change them.

So think about the goals you want to achieve. Think about how achieving that goal will improve your life.

When the negative thoughts come up, remove them and replace them.

Now let's make 2017 your best year ever.
Let's make 2017 the year you achieve your goals.

In 2017 you succeed and make those changes.

Step 1: Decide what you want to achieve
Step 2: Make sure your goals are measurable
Step 3: Focus on how succeeding will change your life
Step 4: Get rid of the negative thoughts and negative beliefs
Step 5: Reprogram your subconscious mind to help you succeed

I give you step-by-step instructions to make sure you achieve your goals and live the kind of life you want.

I walk you through the process and give you complete support to make sure you achieve your goals and enjoy the kind of success you desire.

As these negative thoughts leave your mind, you would be able to achieve the goals you have set for yourself

Let's make 2017 your best year ever.
Decide what you want to achieve in 2017 and then let's work together to achieve it/them

Wishing you tremendous success...

An Amazing Piece Of Advice From A Chinese - Must Read!!!

Because none of us will live FOREVER in the physical, and we certainly can't take anything along with us when we die.... we don't have to be too thrifty.

Spend the money that should be spent, enjoy what should be enjoyed, donate what you are able to donate, but don't leave all of your hard earned wealth to your children or grandchildren, for you don't want them to become parasites who are waiting for the day you will die!!

DON'T WORRY about what will happen after you are gone, because when you return to dust, you will feel nothing about, social praises, acceptances or criticisms. The time to enjoy the life on this side of the divide and your hard earned wealth will be over and soon like all other famous and non-famous beings NOBODY will be bothered about you!

DON'T WORRY too much about your children, for children will have their own destiny and should find their own way. Don't be your children's slave. Care for them, love them, give them gifts but also enjoy your money while you can. Life should have more to it than working from the cradle to the grave!!

DON'T EXPECT too much from your children. Ask yourself how much you care about your own parents... Caring children, though caring, would be busy with their jobs and commitments to render only OCCASIONAL help.
Uncaring children may fight over your assets even when you are still alive, and wish for your early demise so they can inherit your properties and wealth.
Your children take for granted that they are rightful heirs to your wealth; but that you have ABSOLUTELY NO claims to their money.

DON'T TRADE -in your health for wealth, by working yourself to an early grave anymore. Because your money may not be able to buy your health.
When to stop making money, and how much MONEY IS enough ?
A hundred, thousand, One million, ten million, one billion... ?
Out of thousands of hectares of good farm land, you can consume only 1/4 kg of rice daily.... ; out of 10 mansions, you only need 8 square meters of space to rest at night.
So, as long as you have enough food and enough money to spend, that is good enough. You should live happily. Every family has its own problems.

Just DO NOT COMPARE with others for fame and social status and see whose children are doing better etc., but challenge others for happiness, health, enjoyment, quality of life and longevity.

DON'T WORRY about things that you can't change... age, height, weight, colour..... because it doesn't help and it will DEFINITELY spoil your health to an early GRAVE. .

You have to create your own well-being and find your own place of happiness.

As long as you are in good mood and good health, think about happy things, do happy things daily and have fun in doing these things... then you will pass your time happily every day.

IF One day passes WITHOUT happiness, you will lose one day.
IF One day passes WITH happiness, then you WILL gain an additional one day.
In good spirit, sickness will be cured;
In a happy spirit, sickness will be cured faster;
In high and happy spirits, sickness will never come to you.

With good mood and suitable amount of exercise, always out in the sun, eating a variety of foods, reasonable amounts of vitamins and minerals intake, hopefully you will live another additional 20 to 30 years of a healthy life of fun and pleasure.

- ABOVE ALL -
Learn to cherish the goodness around you.. and the good FRIENDS you have...... They all make you feel young and "wanted"... without them you will surely feel lost!!!!

Wishing you all the best for the years to come.

Don't Put Life Off Until Tomorrow!

When a man is born, his life's countdown has already started and each day makes him get older and brings him closer to his grave.

This is one fact that all men have to understand and internalize it.

Whether we like it or not, life is going on,
in good weather and bad weather, it is going in,
in cold and winter, summer and autumn,
whether the sun is high up there in the air in the day time or the moon is there in the night time;
whether it is raining cats and dogs or burning flesh with heat;
Life is going on

In sickness and in health, life is going on
In riches and poverty, life is going on

Even when the taste of living is gone, life goes on

It doesn't wait for anyone; it doesn't wait for fairer weather or any of such things.

Being conscious of this fact, it makes no sense then to POSTPONE  or PUT OFF life until a latter day or date.

Life is to be lived everyday
It is to be a daily experience and no one has it on

A lot of people have the dream to be this or be that, to have this or have that before they start living their lives ...
but today I want to remind you that LIFE IS LIVED IN STAGES and missing out on any of the stages especially at the younger age makes one suffer from ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and thus get stuck to childhood acts and habits.

Each life stage comes with its own fantasies, hard facts and fiction and they are better experienced in that stage than carried forward.

Moreover we are here on a mission and none of us knows when that mission would be accomplished and this means that no one knows just the exact time when it would be his turn to return to the Maker.

When I was growing up, I received the best piece of advise any Father would give to his Son from my own Father. He told me
"live the life you have to live when you have to live it"

For each stage of life, live that life - be open and receptive, laugh a lot, give a helping hand to another worse off than you are, forgive quickly, run the race until the winds leave your lungs, love someone, have fun and enjoy your life.

Don't put off life for tomorrow, because tomorrow could be a hundred years when you would be all bones and no energy left to enjoy the life or it could be just 24 hours when the bell shall toll!!!

The "Witch" Lives In You

Often I hear people complain of how they have remained stagnated for years, how nothing ever works for them  and they believe "erroneously" though that there is a witch somewhere that is making life difficult for them.

They see the witch in their dreams every night, they are always being pursued by the devil and his demons, they always imagine the worst whenever they have the opportunity to think.

They think that someone took their picture to some coven and that's where their destinies are tied down.

They listen to any and every "man of god" that comes around.

They have done so many "family deliverances" and even "personal deliverance"

And yet, nothing seems to happen simply because that "witch" lives in their heads, in their brains, in their thought processes.

Wrong beliefs, wrong thoughts, wrong actions would only be perpetuated by the "witch within"

When you are unable to think positively, the witch within is at work
When you are unable to take a step to actualize your dreams, the witch within is at work
When you know what to do but allow yourself to be paralyzed by too many analysis, the witch within is at work
When you attend deliverance sessions and then go to sleep, expecting God to do for you what you ought to do for yourself, the witch within is at work

If your life sucks now, it is not because of any witch without but it is because of the witch within.

God lives in you Yes He does but so does the witch too!!

Unfortunately, God gave you the Power of Will and the Power of Choice and so whatever you allow in your life is ENTIRELY YOUR CHOICE

Until you kick that witch that lives in you out of your life, I'm afraid it will continue to suck!!!

Take your life back today!!!

Have a great day

It's Time To Give Your Life A Make Over

I know it's difficult to believe that something good and new can still happen in these times of open faced lies and outright denials of promises made; in this era of incoherent and inconsistent statements emanating from the Corridors of Power even on the same subject line.

I know that most of us are hurting - really hurting!!!

There's so much frustration in the land, persons are willing to end it all even at the slightest provocation, neighbours pick quarrels with neighbours they have never quarreled with before now; husbands are having a hell of a time bringing food to the family table and wives are having the worst of it all as the market prices fluctuate so dangerously that on daily basis, they increase by more than 100%.

Manufacturing Companies are folding up on daily basis and relocating to neighbouring African Countries with better managed economy
Jobs are being lost daily
Construction Companies have since gone on retirement
the number of Psychiatric patients is on the increase
the number of husband -wife quarrels is on the increase
the number of people being hospitalized is on the increase
the number of people living below poverty line has more than doubled in the last one year
the number of out of school children has jumped up to the high heavens
the number of malnourished children and even adults is really shouting up to God

Yes, we can go on and on about these lamentations and woes

But let me tell you something
It is when the going is tough that the really tough people get the easiest goings of their lives.

And how do they do that?

They give their lives a MAKE OVER

No matter how much we shout and bicker and complain and whine, those in the House of Power are deaf though not dumb and any such conversation with them can only be likened to the "dialogue of the deaf" without signs.

And knowing this therefore, we have a choice - either to keep shouting ourselves hoarse in the hope that a thread of letters can hit their tympanic membrane and cause a vibration to be sent to their brains to hear us (very difficult to do I must say) or we can pick up the pieces of our lives and try to make something better from and for ourselves.

It is far easier to pass the needle through the eye of the bull than to pass the head of the bull through the eye of the needle.

Give your life a make over and here's how to do it

*Take stock of who you are - what are your fine creative abilities and features
*Write these down on a jotter (as many as you can remember)
*Prioritize them - tick them out as they appear important to you
*Re-prioritize again
*Scale down to at least 3 that you are most passionate about
*Research on those 3 and what you can do with them (Google them - to find out what businesses are available in the 3 areas of your highest interest)
*Put down on paper all it takes to start off something based on your research
*Create a map of action - a Plan
*Start WORK
And don't give any excuse or reason to fail
Don't stop until you have made something new out of yourself again

Then come over and thank me

It's really time for you to give your life a make over
Just do it

And I shall be here waiting to give you a big bear hug of welcome!!

How To Make Your Life Better

5 Things to Do Today to Make Your Life Better

You and I have spent the better part of our lives pursuing success, but we can’t change this eternal truth: The best things in life are (nearly) free. Good health, time with loved ones, relaxing with our pets, and the simple comfort of a cup of coffee at the kitchen table on a quiet Saturday morning…you don’t need to live in a palace to appreciate these things. It truly is the little things in life that matter the most.

There are also many things money can’t buy. For example, some of us have health issues, due to misfortune or genetics, that can’t be fixed no matter how much money we throw at them.

Some mornings we get up on the wrong side of the bed. Murphy’s Law applies to us too. Yes, even JTFBlog readers have struggles.

On those days we must turn to the scientifically proven rituals that are within our control and guaranteed to improve our well-being.

Here are 5 habits to do every day for a better life, and none of them cost more than a few dollars to get started.

1) Give Gratitude
Being grateful should not be limited to Thanksgiving. As The New York Timesreported, “having gratitude has been linked to better health, sounder sleep, less anxiety and depression, higher long-term satisfaction with life and kinder behavior toward others, including romantic partners.”

It’s tempting to let one’s cynical nature reject the idea. I almost did. I grew up relatively poor on a farm just outside of Stratford, a small city in Ontario, Canada. We lived frugally, wore hand-me-down clothes, and clipped coupons for groceries. This upbringing left me with a scarcity mindset until my early thirties. When I was first introduced to the concept of gratitude, I was skeptical and wanted to reject it. But I gave it a try and added daily gratitude journaling to my habits. It’s become one of the most important parts of my life, and will add to yours as well.

If you don’t already have a Gratitude Journal start one today. It takes just a few minutes to fill out. You’ll simply list the people, things, and activities you are grateful for, and the achievements you made each day. If you are going through any type of health, financial, or marital struggles, I promise gratitude journaling will give you the right perspective on life.

2) Meditate for Minutes
How much would you pay for a pill that promises less anxiety, more focus, improved patience, greater creativity, and a better memory, all without side effects?

All of these benefits are freely available to you through meditation.

It does not take long, nor is it difficult to experience the benefits. As little as a minute of slow, deep breathing calms you down and lowers blood pressure, and just a few minutes per day delivers an incredible return on investment. Click here for a 3-minute meditation program.

Admittedly, it’s not an easy habit to keep. I started and stopped several times before finally making meditation a daily habit in 2013 and it’s now been almost 1,000 days in a row I’ve meditated for at least 5 minutes. The secret is to effortlessly incorporate it into your daily routine, and that will likely mean doing it within the first thirty minutes of waking up.

Sit comfortably, either in a chair or on the floor (with your hips elevated on cushions to make it comfortable). Bend your arms, palms up, touch your index finger to your thumb, close your eyes, and breathe slow and deep. It’s okay if your mind races. If that happens, return your focus to your breathing.

When I began meditating, I counted the number of breaths, and tried to do one more breath each day. Do whatever it takes to get started, and eventually you’ll come to love the internal benefits of feeling calm and being better able to control your emotions.

Start with just a minute for the first few days. If you can go longer, that’s fine. Next week aim for two minutes. Build up to at least five minutes, and preferably 15-20 minutes per day. It will make a world of difference in your physical and mental health…for free.

3) Write a Thank You Card to Someone Every Day
My father, whom I loved dearly, was a bitter, jealous man, and I’ve fought all my life to escape the shadow of his demons. Two summers ago I found myself jealous over the success of a good friend. Feeling ashamed of these thoughts, I decided to turn bitter into better. Instead of envying my friend, I wrote him a note thanking him for being an industry leader and congratulating him on his success.

Writing the thank you card was a big mental breakthrough. It lifted a burden of guilt from my heart. A big smile crossed my face as I dropped it in the mail knowing it would arrive as a surprise. Now I write a thank you note every day because this little act of appreciation has made a big difference in my life.

4) The 3 E’s: Exercise, Eat Right, & be Early to Rise
We are incredibly fortunate to eat whatever and wherever we want. One of the greatest meals I ever had was a rich, five course lunch at the Antinori winery in Tuscany. But tempting as it might be, we can’t eat like that everyday. It’s fine to enjoy one or two meals of your favorite food and drink in moderate amounts each week, but history proves a rich diet is a recipe for gout, diabetes, and an early death. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to eat delicious meals made from nutrient dense, organic foods.

When it comes to exercise, you don’t need a $5,000 treadmill or $2,500 weight machine set-up in a dedicated home gym. You’ll look and feel better – and younger – from a simple program of walking and body weight exercises.

Finally, it pays to be Early To Rise. My longtime mentor and ETR’s founder, Mark Ford, shared one simple tip for giving me more energy. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. When I took Mark’s advice on this, after ignoring him for years, it was like finding the missing piece of my daily energy puzzle. Gone were the 2 o’clock energy slumps, the Monday morning blahs, and the desire to hit the snooze alarm. It’s so simple, yet so effective.

5) Think Big
You don’t have to be told this twice. As an ETR reader, you’re already successful, and you’ve been thinking big since the day you were born. But there are benefits to formalizing your big thinking.

James Altucher, best selling author of Choose Yourself, suggests writing down 10 big ideas every morning. I recommend doing this before or after your morning meditation session. All you need is a journal and a pen. Add this exercise to your day to ward off the complacency that might be creeping into your life. It will help you make big breakthroughs on any problems in your business and personal life.

These five activities remind me of my great fortune every day, give me the energy and enthusiasm to keep on pushing on during trying times, and form the foundation of my spiritual and physical wellbeing. I am a lucky man, fortunate to count you as a friend and to have had success in business, and these five habits remind me of that everyday. Add them to your daily routine and I know you’ll get as much from them as I do.
