Let's Make It A September To Remember

 

We have crossed into another month.

A new month indeed but with an old name - September

The 9th month of the year

Why it was named September belongs to history but what belongs to us right now is the obvious fact that - September just arrived.

and our major concern is - What are we going to do with September?

If we have handled the preceding 8 months before now well, then all we need to do is to double down on what has worked in the past months and get them to do better this month.

But if we have had issues making the past months successful, then we need to adjust our sails, look out for the green compass and ensure that as we head towards the end of the year, we are cruising in the winning ship.

But you know, there's just nothing you can do all by yourself - you need the Grace of God and the support of men.

It is HIS GRACE that has brought you into this new month in the first place, don't take it for granted - be GRATEFUL for the breath of life in you. So many people wished to see this new month but could not make it, stats have it that more than 3 million people world wide go to bed every night and never wake up the following morning. If you are reading this, it only means that you still have God's life breath in you - celebrate it, rejoice and be happy. Let nothing bother you beyond the ordinary, remember that you have total control over how things end up in and with you. Be positive always. Look out for the silver lining no matter how dark the clouds may be.

And for this month, ask God to be with you. HE WILL. I promise you that and why should I be making such a promise - BECAUSE I KNOW HIM.

Listen, it's a new month filled with great opportunities - look out for those opportunities, cast your cynicism that has  not paid you any good dividend aside and embrace an opportunity to be better. Trust me you will not regret it BUT always do your own DUE DIGITAL DILIGENCE.

Don't just jump headlong, test the waters first with your feet to ascertain their depth.

Let's make it a September to Remember.

And the eight month of the year is here - AUGUST is her name.

It is God's grace that has brought us this far, it is neither by our power nor by our might because by strength shall no man prevail.

August has brought with her a lot of goodies and it is your responsibility to pick your choice out of her bag of goodies - whatever you pick is what you get.

So think deep, reflect well before making a choice from the bag of goodies. However, if you don't like what you picked, you can always turn it around but no longer from the bag of goodies because you have only one chance to make a pick BUT by your mind power.

I cannot tell you that all your problems are over in this month because that will be telling a lie - there would be old problems that would resurface and then there will be new problems that will surface BUT whether they surface or resurface, you have been EMPOWERED to deal with them all by your Creator. His grace is abundant and ubiquitous; make every effort to rely on HIM because it is in Him that we LIVE and MOVE and have our BEING.

And the 6th month of the year has arrived- June is her name, a new month with an old name

BUT

we have entered into it by the mercy and grace of God and not by our own power or might.

For who by himself can keep himself alive?, who by himself can make himself whole?, who by himself can keep himself sane and of a sound mind?. For it is said 'neither by power nor by might shall any man prevail'

It is God that keeps us because "in HIM we live and move and have our being"

He lives in us to Guide, Guard, Protect, Defend, Shield and Provide for us.

In this month of June, God Who keeps you shall neither slumber nor sleep. He shall not let your feet hit upon any stone and in fact He shall give His Angels charge over you that they bear you upon their shoulders and make you invisible to those who out of sheer egoistic pride despise you.

He will provide for you and you shall lack nothing

He will turn around that challenging situation in your life and your mouth shall be filled with laughter like them that dreameth

And you shall have cause to glorify His Holy Name

In this month of June, I invite you to come and rest on the Lord. Take all your worries, your travails, your challenges, the obstacles on your path to Him. HE IS ABLE and ABUNDANTLY so.

If God has allowed you to see this day, it only means one thing - that the assignment He gave you to do is yet to be completed and so you have another opportunity to take a go at life and the process of living.

Today I pray for you, that God shall

-     enable you to experience growth and elevation

-     allow your borders to expand and your coasts to enlarge

-     perfect all that concerns you, He shall fight your battles and you shall just hold your peace

-     not allow any weapon fashioned against you to prosper and to condemn every tongue that shall rise up in judgement against you  

-     be Your Provider, Protector, Shield and Guardian and under His very watchful Eyes, nothing shall be by any means hurt you.

-     allow your enemies to be at peace with you

5 Things Everyone Should Do In The First Week Of 2021

 

The first week of any new year is usually the first week of the first month which is January and so 2021 is not any different.

The first week of January is the period 1st to 7th of January and we wish to advise on what should be done in order to enjoy a successful year

1.      Bid Farewell To 2020

Many a time, even though the last year ended on the 31st of December, we still carry issues of the old year into the new year - some might even last as long as the first 6 months.

We wish to advise that you conclude everything about 2020 - all the failures, the adverse effects of the corona virus, maybe the loved ones lost to death, maybe bad business environment, maybe bad economic condition, the hurts, the blackmails, the betrayals  - everything - conclude everything, get 2020 over and done with.

Don’t carry the garbage of the past year into the new year.

Are there people you need to forgive? Ask God for help to do that.

2.      Make A Decision On What You Really Want In 2021

During the cross over night service, most persons are led to make certain resolutions they intend to keep in the coming year.

Statistics has shown that most resolutions do not last more than 2 weeks and this is majorly because they were made on the spur of the moment and were not really intentional.

To really decide what you want in a period of time, you have to be intentional about it. This may seem a tough nut to crack but it can be cracked.

Just take out time, sit by yourself, ruminate in yourself and ask yourself certain questions - the answers you provide to those questions will lead you into deciding on what you REALLY want in 2021.

Don't delay the exercise - later never comes

3.      Look Out For Persons Of Like Mindedness And Get A Team Going

To be successful, you have to mill around successful people.

If you have made up your mind on what you really want, then you have to look around your friends zone for persons who are forward looking and upwardly mobile to band them into a team.

One person can achieve so much but a team can achieve so much more

4.      Conduct A SWOT Analysis On Yourself

This analysis will help you to create your balance sheet - a process that will help to improve the areas of life where you have lacked or not performed well in the outgone year. When you gain balance, movement is steady, smooth and successful.

5.      Get A Coach

It is obvious that some one or some persons have done what you want to do and did it so well that they were adjudged successful.

The popular saying that you don't need to reinvent the wheel is still very apt.

So, seek and locate someone who has achieved that which you dream of and get close to him or her, ask them to Coach or Mentor you.

A Coach will shorten your learning curve and help you to conserve the 10000 hours you need to perfect any skill.

A Coach acts as your accountability partner - We all have blind spots and it takes a good eye to see it and help us through those areas.

That's it.

We believe that if you put these 5 things in perspective and actually do implement them, your story will not be the same by December 31st 2021.

This Is 2021 - Take Responsibility

Every man born of a woman and every woman brought into this world by another woman has a mission and is already equipped to carry out that mission.

It is expected that when a man or woman comes of age (usually at 18), he or she is expected to pursue that mission relentlessly until it is achieved.

If you are of age and you are a man, I need to remind you that Obi cannot continue to be a boy every year

And if you are a woman and you are of age, I would also like to remind you that Ada cannot continue to be a girl every year.

This is 2021, man up or woman up to your responsibilities- most especially take responsibility for your own life - God is the Owner of your life but He has graciously ceded the living of it to you and He has given you the Will Power to live it well.

4 Golden Pieces Of Advice For 2021

There is really nothing new under the Sun. These pieces of advice are as old as mankind itself but only very few adhere to them and make their lives and the living of it much more worth the while.

Take a good look at these areas of your life, and if they are not in good order, maybe the advise thereafter will help

1.     Your HEALTH

It is popularly said that prevention is better than cure and these days we even say that prevention is cheaper than cure.

Don't wait until you get knocked down by sickness before you go to see a  qualified Medical Doctor (Always ask to see a Medical Doctor - many people are answering Doctors now because they have Ph. D. and some are answering Doctors even when they have no such qualifications)

Other things to do concerning your health

-       Eat well

-       Sleep well

-       Exercise well

-       worry less

-       drink lots of water - plain old water - tasteless, colourless, odourless

-       mind your own business

2.     Your MONEY

Create a 2nd income stream or third or fourth (there can be no end to it)

To do this

-       Go to bed early, rise up early

-       Cut down on TV watching time

-       Keep away from negativities and negative people

-       Work hard (I have never heard that anyone died from hard work)

-       Work smartly too

-       Go online - the internet was invented for you to use

-       Pray always and without ceasing

3.     Your FINANCES

You need to learn how to manage your money so that you can create wealth for yourself and your family

To do this:

-       Live within your income

-       Spend less than you earn

-       Invest the remaining

-       Budget for what you want and save towards it

-       As much as lieth in you NEVER BORROW to buy anything

-       Never try to impress anyone - nobody is actually interested

-       That old adage - cut your coat according to your cloth is still very apt now

4.     OTHERS

-       JOY is innate, allow it to flow out in season and out of season

-       The door to HAPPINESS is always open, don't let things and people decide when you can be happy

-       LOVE is the ultimate - don't cheat on your spouse if you are married and if you are in a committed relationship don't cheat also

-       CHILDREN are gifts from God but ensure to train them in the nature and nurture of the Lord

It's Here - Finally Year 2021 Has Arrived

 

It's Here - Finally Year 2021 Has Arrived

 

Hurray, finally Year 2021 has made its grand entry into our lives.

Since the 1st of December 2020, we have been waiting and expecting to see January 1 2021.

We fasted, we prayed, we went to the Mountain and slept on the plains, We went up the Hills to have a foresight of the year but No, we did not, all we could do was wish and wish and wish.

Finally our wish has come true. God in His Infinite Mercies has led us by His Mighty Hand and brought us into 2021

So, this is the new year, the year 2021.

What are you going to do with it?

That's a personal question and no one else can answer it for you but we can only suggest that whatever you choose to do with this year, do not abandon the driver's seat on your ship - Your Life is your very own space ship - be on the driver's seat, take responsibility for your life. Stop allowing others to rent your grey matter, put it to effective use for yourself. It is time for you to be the Architect and Builder of your own life and the Master and Captain of your own soul
