THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY

TGIF - THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY. What relief this day brings to the heart of men and women alike particularly those that are in white collar jobs

Waking up by 4.30 am in the morning, preparing to leave the house by 6.00am if one must make it to the office by 8.00 am considering the hold ups that bedevil the roads in most Nigerian Cities like Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt e.t.c; and then walking up and down the office corridors and actually seating down to work in the offices, usually take their toll on the individuals on daily basis. Thus Friday is seen as a day to actually exhale. In the Federal Capital and most other places, Friday is like a National day as we see workers wearing national dresses to work. Also it is a day when most workers close early in the guise of going for prayers. Friday has thus been turned into a half day kind of in most public offices.

For most guys and gals who like to go to church on Sundays but who like clubbing, Friday provides the opportunity to actually go clubbing to let the hair down and just "enjoy" whatever life has to offer. Thus a number of persons patronize the night clubs on Friday, so that they can have enough sleep on Saturday, to be able to prepare for Sunday service and the next week

So, while many people actually loathe Monday, but all are in agreement that there should always be a Friday; thus the expression Thank God it's Friday has come to stay

Whatever Friday means to you, remember to make it worth your while

But whatever you do, remember not to overdo it, a little to the right and a little to the left leaves the Centre secured

God Bless you richly
