You Get What You Believe You Deserve

\You Get What You Believe You Deserve

You are such a good person, always trying the best you can to live a moral and righteous life. Never intentionally hurting anyone and making great efforts to be your neighbours keeper.

And yet, many a time, you wonder why the good things of life you feel you deserve do not come your way.

You see others that you think you are better off than hitting it well on life but you, things don't go the same way for you and you wonder why?

Well the truth of the matter is - you are not going to get anything out of life that you don't really believe you deserve.

Now, this belief is not the one that you mouth - it is the one that you FERVENTLY hold and daily ruminate in it.

It is not enough in life to live morally and ethically. You must also be mentally straight.

You must have a positive self-image in order to receive the blessings of life!

I am often asked the question, "Why Do The Righteous Suffer?" In other words, "Why do seemingly good people suffer?"

You can be morally and ethically straight and correct, but if you do not know how to positively relate to your emotions and the processes of your mind, you will suffer.

So, it isn't enough just to be a good person. You must have a proper self-identity. You must fervently believe that you deserve God's goodness.

So "Why do good people suffer?" Because they don't believe that they deserve God's goodness.

They ask for God's goodness in their prayers, but down deep, they don't believe they deserve it.

If you don't believe you deserve God's goodness, what do you believe then?

At the subconscious level are you believing you deserve the opposite of good?

Maybe that is why you aren't getting the good you desire

Between You And The Word Of God

"Don't Give Up - You Have God's Word!" - 2 Chron. 15:7 ...

Between You And The Word Of God

And the Scripture says:

Set a watch oh Lord before my mouth

And keep the door of my lips

The word is very important

What you say about yourself is the word of God to you

If you say you are poor, that is your word and that  becomes the word of God to you
that becomes the word that determines your experience
that becomes the word that determines your expression

If you say you cannot get anywhere
If you say you cannot succeed

if you say you cannot prosper
If you say you were born unlucky
If you say you cannot hold down any money
If you say nothing works for you
If you say that you are born to lose
then those are your words and they also become the word of God to you

If you say you are rich, that is your word and that becomes the word of God to you and that becomes the word that determines both your experience and your expression.

And you're never going get any further in life than the word of God - meaning your word about yourself

Whatever It Is, Go Do It

My Monday Motivational

Whatever It Is, Go Do It

As I learned from New York Times Bestselling Author, John Assaraf, what happens when most people learn something new is that, because it causes a mental disruption, the mind actually begins to create false doubts, fears, and anxiety around the idea.

Then, for most people, this causes them to self-sabotage in order to get back to where they are very comfortable.

WHOA WHOA WHOA — That got deeeeeeeeep.

Let’s slow it down a little and try to make some sense of all this.

First things first, let’s look at what makes people successful.

Step 1 - Gather all the knowledge needed to be successful

Get them in books
Attend Training, Seminars, Workshops, Conferences
Attend Networking events
Interview those who have made it in the field you are in

Step 2 - Apply the knowledge

That’s about it.

Interestingly enough, though, most people are only able to achieve Step 1.

When it comes to Step 2, you let yourself get in your own way.

Look, the only person stopping you from achieving anything you decide you want is YOU.

How do you get past your own mental barriers?

You simply have to dive in head first and take action.

No matter how small it is, or how insignificant you think it may be, make that first move.

I want you to say, “To hell with the norm,” and prove the statistics wrong.

Don’t wait until later.

Don’t say you’ll get started tomorrow.
Today is the day and NOW is the time

You want to get into Vlogging or Blogging or Online Business, register the domain name, create the Blog or the Online Business or pull out your camera phone, and just start shooting.

Somewhere, the Universe shall take it from where you have started

Remember Heaven helps those who help themselves..

So, stop waiting, stop prevaricating, stop procrastinating

...Whatever it is, just do it!

And just do it NOW

Stop This Habit Right Now!!!!

Do you have the habit of comparing yourself with others?

If you do, there is a good chance that you are comparing yourself to someone who has done better than you.

"Johnny scored higher for the class test than me.... again."

"My boss does the same job as me, but her pay is a lot more than mine. Unfair huh?"

"Brad has rich parents, that's why he can stay jobless. Wished I had that kind of luck."

Notice the bit of negative energy that is associated when you compare with people who are "better" than you?

You can be awesome at what you do, and be well loved by your friends...

but as long as you make unnecessary comparisons with what others are better at, you will never be truly happy.

I have to admit - I am a fiercely competitive person.

I used to compare myself with others when I was younger and more aggressive (and more ignorant
too, haha).

But now my biggest competitor is myself.

I always ask myself 2 questions.

1) Am I better than myself 1 year ago?

2) What can I do today to make myself better in 1 year's time?

I don't care about other people's achievements.

Now, friends earning big money has nothing to do with me - Good for them, but I'm more concerned about increasing my income.

If I have the energy to criticize other people's achievements (and their rich daddies)...

then I certainly should convert the energy to do something useful for my personal growth.

So how do you break the habit of comparing yourself to others?

You just have to consciously stop yourself when you are about to compare.

Sounds easier than done?

All of us have our strengths and weaknesses.

You are happy while he is smart. It's comparing apples to oranges, so why make your life miserable?

Life is a long journey - get yourself ready for it.

After Secondary School...

From Pete Edochie

Some of your classmates have gone out of the country, some are now graduates, some have gotten married, some have given birth, some are dead too don't forget that, some haven't even gained admission into the tertiary institution, but you know that feeling when you meet your classmate, and it seems like he/she has reached his dreams and you're not yet close to yours?

Yea, somehow feels like jealousy, its a normal feeling. But, You must not regret your life.

We all are different and our path to greatness is not same in distance. Some might reach before you, some might reach after you but whatever level you are presently, please keep trying to break limitations and move further.

Celebrate the success of others, it's an application for yours. Your friend buys a car now, be happy with him/her. Remember when you get yours, theirs wouldn't be the latest again.

Life is not by competition, if not we all Will be born into one type of family, one religion and same everything. The passion in you, never quench. The desire in you, keep it burning. what you pass through, write it down because one day the world will be ready to read it.

There's no height you cannot attain, just believe, define goals and recognize distractions, spend time teaching yourself, because the things that mainly take people to the top, is the things they devoted time to develop.

Don't be intimidated by your fellow's success, the sky is too wide that the birds can fly without touching themselves.

Why You Should Always Say "No"

Do you find it hard to say "No"?

Saying "No" to an acquaintance who calls you abruptly to meetup so he can share a "business opportunity"?

Saying "No" to a buddy who calls you up for beer, when you should be catching up on sleep instead?

Saying "No" to a rude customer who wants to engage your services, but keeps haggling on prices, and yet asking for more freebies?

Saying "No" to a colleague who is asking you to do some work, when you are already late on your deliverables?

Or even saying "No" to excessive food in a party when you are trying to cut down on your waistline?

Here's the thing...

Successful people are amazingly good at focusing.

When they say "Yes" to getting something done, they say tons of "No" to everything else.

If they want to get something done well and within their deadlines, they say "No" to all other distractions.

After all, we all have the same 24 hours a day.

And it ain't that long - we can only squeeze in so much activities.

So we have to be super selective on what we CHOOSE
to do.

For every goal you have made to build your dreams...

you have to learn to say "No" in a lot of other things that are not aligned in your goal.

As long as you are clear about what you want in life, don't feel guilty about saying "No".

Be like a postage stamp.

Stick to one thing until you get there.

Don't Put Life Off Until Tomorrow!

When a man is born, his life's countdown has already started and each day makes him get older and brings him closer to his grave.

This is one fact that all men have to understand and internalize it.

Whether we like it or not, life is going on,
in good weather and bad weather, it is going in,
in cold and winter, summer and autumn,
whether the sun is high up there in the air in the day time or the moon is there in the night time;
whether it is raining cats and dogs or burning flesh with heat;
Life is going on

In sickness and in health, life is going on
In riches and poverty, life is going on

Even when the taste of living is gone, life goes on

It doesn't wait for anyone; it doesn't wait for fairer weather or any of such things.

Being conscious of this fact, it makes no sense then to POSTPONE  or PUT OFF life until a latter day or date.

Life is to be lived everyday
It is to be a daily experience and no one has it on

A lot of people have the dream to be this or be that, to have this or have that before they start living their lives ...
but today I want to remind you that LIFE IS LIVED IN STAGES and missing out on any of the stages especially at the younger age makes one suffer from ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and thus get stuck to childhood acts and habits.

Each life stage comes with its own fantasies, hard facts and fiction and they are better experienced in that stage than carried forward.

Moreover we are here on a mission and none of us knows when that mission would be accomplished and this means that no one knows just the exact time when it would be his turn to return to the Maker.

When I was growing up, I received the best piece of advise any Father would give to his Son from my own Father. He told me
"live the life you have to live when you have to live it"

For each stage of life, live that life - be open and receptive, laugh a lot, give a helping hand to another worse off than you are, forgive quickly, run the race until the winds leave your lungs, love someone, have fun and enjoy your life.

Don't put off life for tomorrow, because tomorrow could be a hundred years when you would be all bones and no energy left to enjoy the life or it could be just 24 hours when the bell shall toll!!!

You Can't Win If You Don't Try

In this life time, I have met a number of persons who are specialists in complaining but come short in action.

They have all the adjectives and anecdotes to describe their failures and frustrations but never lift a finger to help themselves.

They are very willing to blame everything and anything for how their lives suck but never themselves.

They are good, infact very good at practicing the age old excuse of man - "passing the buck"

They take no responsibilities, they bear no flakes, they keep pushing away and never pulling in.

I am sure you would have met such people too or you might even be one.

Well, today I just want to tell you that there is no substitute to ACTION if you want to succeed.

It is very possible for you to be WHATEVER you want to be, but that won't happen on a platter, you must be ready to WORK on it and work is an action.

Who amongst you wanting to be a Medical Doctor would sit down in his father's house, fast and pray about it and expect to be a Medical Doctor?

Would you not rather earnestly desire to be apprenticed to a renowned Medical Doctor so that you can learn the skills from him and also become proficient yourself?

And that applies to whatever, anyone wants to be whether it is being a Lawyer or an Architect or an Engineer or a Computer Scientist or a Tanker Driver or a Bricklayer e.t.c.

Stories abound of how people have changed their destinies because they took action on what they wanted to be.

I have my story too

The only way to win at the game of life is to try!!!
The only way to succeed at whatever you set your eyes on is to work at it

You can't win, if you don't try

So try!!!
Even if you fail, try again and again and again until you succeed.
Because "failure is an orphan but success has many relations"

A song lyrics go like this

"if you try and fail
Don't ever give up
But remember
life is what you make it ......."

Nothing gladdens the heart more than being successful at one's chosen desire

When you are what you really wanted to be, even your entire environment is at peace with you just as you are with it

So, today, TRY

The "Witch" Lives In You

Often I hear people complain of how they have remained stagnated for years, how nothing ever works for them  and they believe "erroneously" though that there is a witch somewhere that is making life difficult for them.

They see the witch in their dreams every night, they are always being pursued by the devil and his demons, they always imagine the worst whenever they have the opportunity to think.

They think that someone took their picture to some coven and that's where their destinies are tied down.

They listen to any and every "man of god" that comes around.

They have done so many "family deliverances" and even "personal deliverance"

And yet, nothing seems to happen simply because that "witch" lives in their heads, in their brains, in their thought processes.

Wrong beliefs, wrong thoughts, wrong actions would only be perpetuated by the "witch within"

When you are unable to think positively, the witch within is at work
When you are unable to take a step to actualize your dreams, the witch within is at work
When you know what to do but allow yourself to be paralyzed by too many analysis, the witch within is at work
When you attend deliverance sessions and then go to sleep, expecting God to do for you what you ought to do for yourself, the witch within is at work

If your life sucks now, it is not because of any witch without but it is because of the witch within.

God lives in you Yes He does but so does the witch too!!

Unfortunately, God gave you the Power of Will and the Power of Choice and so whatever you allow in your life is ENTIRELY YOUR CHOICE

Until you kick that witch that lives in you out of your life, I'm afraid it will continue to suck!!!

Take your life back today!!!

Have a great day
