Do you find it hard to say "No"?
Saying "No" to an acquaintance who
calls you abruptly to meetup so he can share a "business opportunity"?
Saying "No" to a buddy who calls you
up for beer, when you should be catching up on sleep instead?
Saying "No" to a rude customer who
wants to engage your services, but keeps haggling on prices, and yet asking for
more freebies?
Saying "No" to a colleague who is
asking you to do some work, when you are already late on your deliverables?
Or even saying "No" to excessive
food in a party when you are trying to cut down on your waistline?
Here's the thing...
Successful people are amazingly good
at focusing.
When they say "Yes" to getting
something done, they say tons of "No" to everything else.
If they want to get something done well and
within their deadlines, they say "No" to all other distractions.
After all, we all have the same 24 hours a
day.
And it ain't that long - we can only squeeze
in so much activities.
So we have to be super selective on what we
CHOOSE
to do.
For every goal you have made to build your dreams...
you have to learn to say "No" in a
lot of other things that are not aligned in your goal.
As long as you are clear about what you want
in life, don't feel guilty about saying "No".
Be like a postage stamp.
Stick to one thing until you get there.
