It's Da Weekend!!

Hello My Friends,

It's Saturday and another weekend is here

But it is not just another Saturday, it is the Saturday heralding the arrival of the Christmas Day, the day that Christendon goes agog in commemorating the birth of the Saviour of the World - Jesus the Christ

So, it's Christmas eve and if I remember well enough, Children that would be borne from midnight today shall bear the Names Emmanuel (Male) or Emmanuela (Female) or in some other climes Noel (Male) or Nuel (Female) or whatever native names to indicate that they share the same "birth day" with Jesus the Christ

So much movement would be made today especially to the East of Nigeria as the Igbos go home enmasse to celebrate the festive seasons and launch some developmental projects.

We wish to use this medium to advise all to do things with moderation, because there is still life to be lived after Christmas and New Year Festivities and we wish to also call on the Government in Power to remove all obstacles that are obstructing free flow of movement on the roads that lead to the East of Nigeria from other parts of the Country.

Let people have peace at a time like this that the Prince of Peace deigned to be born as man

God's speed to all making homeward movements

God's blessings to all who are celebrating the Season

Remember that Christ is the Reason for the Season and give Him the Glory and Honour due to Him

As the festivities of the season set in, my family and I wish to

celebrate with all our friends, fans, followers and well wishers.

It is the season of winter, the season to share love because in His infinite love for mankind, God came down to dwell among us, to show us the way to live and relate with one another, to give us the rule of thumb.

Christmas is a season of joy and peace as symbolized by the birth of Christ the newborn King and Lord of all mankind.

As you celebrate this Christmas, may this peace and joy abide with you and your families.

No matter how the weather is around you, REJOICE because something new has come, and it has come loaded with good and beautiful gifts for you and all you are required to do is to APPROPRIATE them to you and yours.

It is my utmost wish to see all my friends step happily into 2016. So, please do drink responsibly, drive carefully and socialize within the bounds of law and order, and the rules of safety.

The Story Of The Holy Birth

The story of redemption or salvation of mankind started when man derailed in the Garden of Eden and caused God to chase him away with a curse.

The blood of ewe lambs and of goats and hens e.t.c. was not enough to atone for the sin of disobedience, atonement required the undiluted and pure blood of a man who had no sin; and since no man conceived by the meeting of a man and a woman was without sin, God had to come down to earth in the person of His Own Son Who was blameless and sinless, in order to redeem mankind.

And so it happened that a pious Virgin in the city of Galilee named Nazareth was found fit to conceive this Holy Child and the Angel Gabriel was sent to break the news to her; naturally she was overwhelmed and asked how that was to be since she knew not man and the Angel replied "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the Power of the Highest shall overshadow thee, therefore also that which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God"

And when a decree was promulgated by the reigning Monarch Caesar Augustus that "all the world should be taxed" Joseph took his heavily pregnant wife Mary to Bethlehem in Judea his native place and while there, Mary's time became due and to accomplish God's Word, "she brought forth her FIRSTBORN son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger because there was no room for them in the Inn"

And the Angel of the Lord went to the company of Shepherds who were keeping watch over their flock by night and broadcast the good news to them  "For unto you is born this day  in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ the Lord" and the Scripture records that "And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men."

And since the birth of Jesus the Christ of God, man's story changed from that of eternal condemnation to that of eternal salvation.

Let Him bring peace to your heart and your soul today

It is no longer news that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Today 24th of December 2015 as a Public Holiday and also 25th and 28th have equally been declared Public Holidays.

This is surely the season of Holidays as Muslims celebrate the Birthday of the Prophet Mohammed and Christians celebrate the Birthday of the Saviour of the World Jesus Christ.

So, it is a very long holiday period spanning 5 days and I am surely certain that you would make the most out of the holidays.

Take some time to reflect on the messages of the Prophet Mohammed and the Saviour Jesus Christ and make a promise to yourself to live by them.

The World of today is hurting more than ever before, you can contribute your own quota in your own nescafe to heal the hurting world.
