The 3 Pillars Of Success Mastery
Thanks for being a regular visitor to my blog and for
reading my posts
I hope that you are taking these lessons to heart and putting
them into action.
I want you
to be successful and there was never a better time to do it than right
now.
However, you will only achieve what you have earned through
having the right mindset, the right strategy, and learning the right skills.
I created a thinking framework that simplifies
understanding what it takes to be successful.
I call it the Three Pillars of Success Mastery.
Let me share it with you.
If you want to be successful in any area of your life, you
have to MASTER three things.
1. The first Pillar of Success Mastery is to Master
Yourself.
You have to get control over your actions, your thoughts,
and your schedule to even stand a chance at ever being successful.
Most people
fail because they either give up, don't work hard enough, don't want to make
sacrifices, or can't keep a positive mindset. It's a fact.
You have to decide what is important to you and then carve
out the time in your schedule to show how important it is.
If you can't find time for your
business, but have time to watch television or browse social media, then you
don't REALLY want an online business. That is a choice you make in your head.
If you quit working on your business, or jump from program
to program, that is a problem with your thinking.
When
someone has mastery over themselves, then they can get up early and stay up
late if that is what is necessary for success. They can quit television and other entertainment to devote their time and
energy on accomplishing their goals. They keep going even when most people
would have quit because they know that success isn't easy and "get rich
quick" is a myth. They can
get themselves to put in the work.
2. The second pillar of Success Mastery is to Master
Your Strategy and Foundations.
You can work really hard and be completely committed to
success, but if you are using the wrong strategy, then success will never
come.
You can
spend months and years climbing the ladder of success only to find out just
when you are almost at the top that it is leaning against the wrong wall and it
just came tumbling down.
If you were trying to lose weight and your strategy was to
eat a gallon of ice cream each day, then you would probably not reach your
goal. That is a bad strategy.
If you want reliable online income, then the best strategy
is to build an audience of people who know, like and trust you. Then you can
sell things to that audience. That is a winning strategy. Trying to sell to strangers (most
people's strategy) is a bad idea.
You need to constantly be upgrading your strategy and
knowledge of how marketing really works so that you can master the second
pillar.
3. The third pillar of Success Mastery is that you
need to Master Key Skills.
You can work hard (Pillar 1) and be following a good
strategy (Pillar 2) and still not be successful if you don't know how to
execute that strategy.
For example, if your strategy was to build a big email
list, send them emails to educate and motivate them and then sell to them, but
you don't know how to write emails that are compelling and informative, you are
doomed to failure. You are missing that key skill.
If you want
to build an audience on YouTube but have no idea how to make a video, then you
strategy isn't going to work.
The great thing about Pillar # 3 is that you can learn any
key skill that you need to be successful.
Want to write more compelling emails?
Read a book on copy-writing by Dan Kennedy, John Carlton or Gary Halbert.
Take a course on writing emails by Andre Chaperone.
Get a coach
or a mentor.
You can learn anything ... if you commit the time to do it.
Most people don't want to do this part because they don't
like to learn. Learning new skills seems boring and it takes time to see
results. That may be true, but the reality is that time is going to go by
anyway. 6
months from now, you could have learned a new skill and gotten results, or you
could have wasted your time and money on 5 new "money making
opportunities" that didn't pan out. Improving yourself pays off forever.
The Three Pillars of Success Mastery dictates that the
amount of success you achieve in life will be held back by whatever pillar you
have the lowest level of mastery at. You need to identify which Pillar is the
cause of your low performance and focus your energy on improving that area
first.
If you are working hard and staying focused, but not
getting results, then the problem is probably with Pillar # 2 (Strategy) or
Pillar # 3 (Key Skills).
If you can only find 2 hours a week to work on your
business, then your problem is definitely with Pillar # 1 (Master Yourself).
Which Pillar is holding you back? What are you going to do
to improve that area?

Thank you sir for this post
ReplyDeleteI believe firmly that whatever one set his mind to achieve,he can do it. Reach for the sky but firstly, you must master yourself which resonate with me.
You must master yourself. Know what works best for you. My job requires a lot of diligence and sacrifice to be successful. I have to train myself on this. I have to wake up early, do my morning meditation and drills and get to work by 7am.
I had to cut some activities like television watching to a minimal level, read books oftenly all in the bid to be efficient. This is a training I am embarking on in order to reinvent myself and gain mastery over myself for efficiency
Thank you
Good one
Delete1.(a)The pillar that is holding me back is mastery of skills in surgery. (b) I have recognized it and taken the decision to learn more skills in surgery and has actually committed to it already as I have a mentor who is putting me through now. 2.The pillar that resonated with me the most is Mastery of oneself: The great Greek philosopher Plato one's said that " Man know thyself" If one Masters oneself , nothing shall be impossible for the person to master because most times, man is his greatest enemy !
ReplyDeleteWork on it
Delete1. For me I think it's the third pillar (getting mastery of skills) most times assumptions lead to costly mistakes, trials and errors can greatly dampen one's zeal. For example, in 2014 I delved into network marketing and due to lack of information and the required skills I lost hundreds of thousands and that has scarred me to some extent. But it's time to move on out of that shadow. For my improvement, I'll clear my mind of all the pain (which I'm already doing) start afresh get all the necessary information and skills required to be a successful network marketer.
ReplyDelete2. The first one ( Being a master of yourself)
That pillar has really helped me go far in life.
I remember at 11 years in secondary school in Jss2, during our interhouse sport competition, I walked up to my house master and told him I want to carry the flag of our house during the match past and he looked at me and asked if I had matched before I told him no but I can learn... Trust me from that day till I retired in Ss3 I kept carrying the flag of the house and even carried the school flag in all external match past competitions.
You have to be certain
DeleteThe Knowledge that is depicted here is amazing.
ReplyDeleteTHREE S';
SELF
STRATEGY AND
SKILLS.
The mastery of all of them places a high premium of success on the personnel. What a thrilling coach here. Seriously, what we have here is simply class. It doesn't apply to a particular field. If applied across spectrum of endeavors, seriously, "e go work put jara".
This is all I need to get into superb action.
Mastery of oneself.
Mastery of strategy.
Mastery of skills.
I am guilty of all of them. All I need do know is to get more emancipated with the teachings herein, then attach more commitment to those innovative books wherein ideas are embedded, get sound mentorship and henceforth apply mastery of oneself before going further.
Thanks for coming handy again convener. The one that stroke me hardest was mastery of oneself self. I need to beat myself because the war ranging in me is definitely a case of the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
I am started again. Happy weekend Sir, you just finished me.
Good to hear
Deletework on them
I believe in that saying that where there is a will there is a way. So mastery once self is to the one that got to me the most.
ReplyDeleteI believe one need to work on his/her self to master what works best for him/her because it is not what works for Mr. A might not work for Mr. B. Each and every one of us has different grace.
I have to cut the amount of time I glue my self to social media like facebook, whenever I am there is mainly for information or to do something cogent and I leave. I am still working to mastery myself cos to me that is the core thing I need now.
1: the third pillar of success mastery, mastering key skills- Sometimes i don't know how to execute strategy and from now i will learn any key skill that can help me to be successful like reading more books on self discovery.
ReplyDelete2: The first pillar of success mastery- mastering oneself. I will learn to master myself and get to control my actions, thought and work hard, make sacrifice and keep positive mindset. Minimaxing the time i spent on watching television and Facebook
Thank you for continously reminding us about the ethics of success and its advantages. The three pillars are of great important. Personally, I think the first pillar is the most important and that is the one I have to work on. Know thee self, it could be so easy or simple as the English word sounds but I think its the most powerful of all. It gives one the merits of having a good start no matter how difficult it seems to be. When we get study ourselves, we are more prepared and productive. Things does not get to us by surprise, this is a clear indication that each and every one of us have their own different journey with different strategies unique to all. We shouldn't be compelled with what is happening around us, we should focus on ourselves and try to work better. What works for me may not work for the other, that is why we have our individual special qualities and features. Pillar one resonates within me and I have to work more on it because I believe it is the fore runner for other pillars pointed out. Thank you so much
