The Truth - 18

 

*The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth*

The story is told of a man whose only son became so ill that local medicine could not help him. He took his son to the Hospital and was asked to deposit the sum of N70, 000.00 for the treatment. He didn't have such money BUT he pleaded that the Hospital should start the treatment while he hustled for the money.

The only thing he knew how to do was dance - he was a cultural dancer.

And to raise the money, the only thing he could do was to dance.

So he put plans on ground with his cultural troupe to organize a dance festival. They announced it through the Community's Town Crier, the Churches' services and other avenues to raise awareness.

On the set date, he and his troupe were out there at the venue 2 hours ahead of the scheduled time. And when the scheduled time arrived, not one person was on ground to watch them. After another hour, a young boy of about 13 came - he was not from the Community and they didn't know him. After waiting for another hour and nobody else showed up, the man decided to go ahead with the cultural dance. He reasoned that since he had already slated it and one boy was there, he would do the best he could to entertain him.

Then he started dancing. He danced and danced and danced to the point that he out-danced himself and the young boy was obviously very elated because he kept applauding him.

After the dance, the boy approached him and wanted to know him and where he lives - they exchanged information and the man went home with his crew very dejected and disappointed.

He didn't know how else to raise money for his son's hospital treatment.

But just imagine how shocked he was when the following morning  a big car parked in his compound and out came the young boy and his father.

It turned out that the teenager had been wanting to learn how to dance and coming to the dance festival was a way of locating a Trainer. His father had promised him that if he could locate a Trainer then they would engage him.

After the discussions, the Dancer was engaged on a monthly take home pay of N150, 000.00 to train the teenager for 1 year in dancing.

This was a miracle and the dancer could not help but shout it to anyone who would care to listen that God is still alive and still busy in the affairs of men.

While that is true, but God is never going to come down to earth physically to manage the affairs of men rather He has given His Will to mankind as a tool to use at all times.

If the dancer did not see through his plan to dance even though it was only for one man audience, his miracle would not come true.

Whatever you have planned to do to improve your lot on earth, no matter what the situation may be - JUST DO IT

Whatever your purpose to do, GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT irrespective of the weather or the outward sight

Now, that is  *the Truth, the WHOLE Truth and nothing but the Truth*
