49 Days To End Of Year

School of Life piece of advise:
"When having a handshake with anyone, do not only make it a FIRM and STRONG handshake but also LOOK THEM STRAIGHT IN THE EYES - eyeball to eyeball"

Life Secret and Tip:
"Memorize something everyday.

Not only will this leave your brain sharp and your memory functioning, you will also have a huge library of quotes to bust out at any moment. Poetry, sayings and philosophies are your best options."

How A Young Boy With Nothing Became A Multi-Millionaire

This boy grew up in inner city Chicago.
He was as poor as poor can be and was accustomed to days when "the only thing in our refrigerator was the light that came on when you opened the door."

At 6 years old, he tried to figure out what he could sell to make money to support himself and his family
He settled on rocks
He started creating and selling hand-painted rocks. Soon he had tons of other kids working for him

Next he started making and selling homemade body lotions

Eventually, he started bigger companies, one of which was a prepaid phone card company

Within a few years, this boy was a multi-millionaire

This boy had no education.
He came from no money

He had no connections
But he built a multi- million dollar business empire from nothing

What was the driving force behind this entrepreneur's success?

If this boy could do it from NOTHING, What's stopping  you?

1 Quality That Entrepreneurs Cannot Succeed Without

By Marla Tabaka

It's not intelligence or education that predicts success. Instead, it's something far less tangible and much harder to measure: grit. So says psychologist and MacArthur Fellow Angela Lee Duckworth. In a 2013 TED Talk Duckworth revealed this finding from she'd learned after years of studying what it takes for people to succeed.

What is grit? Duckworth says that "Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day in, day out, not just for the week, not just for the month, but for years, and working really hard to make that future a reality. Grit is living life like it's a marathon, not a sprint."

I can certainly testify from years of helping people achieve their success that resilience and inner strength are qualities I see in those who make it. Grit, in a word, is that intangible quality that you need to succeed as a leader and entrepreneur.

How can you develop or strengthen the grit that you need to be a success? Begin here.

Develop a growth mindset.

Stanford University psychologist Carol Dweck introduced the concept of a "growth mindset." People with a growth mindset believe that they can better themselves, their abilities, and their minds. They endeavor to learn new things and to develop new skills. "This view," Dweck explains, "creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment. Virtually all great people have had these qualities."

Dweck's research demonstrated that fostering a growth mindset encourages people to be, well, grittier. People with a growth mindset are more resilient and motivated to succeed than others. They treat their brains as muscles. Remember, muscles can get stronger as they work to learn more and better themselves.

For entrepreneurs and leaders, developing a growth mindset is crucial. If you want to lead your business to success, you need to operate on the assumption that you can always be doing something better. That's how you'll excel in your field, gain client loyalty, and develop innovative ideas. What's more, a growth mindset will help you feel motivated to pull through the inevitable moments of failure.

Practice Mindfulness.

One of the ways you can develop grit and a growth mindset is by practicing mindfulness. Practices like meditation can reduce stress, make you more self-aware, and enable you to better develop a growth mindset.

By helping you manage stress, practicing mindfulness can also help you become consistent in your work and your habits. You'll be better equipped to work incrementally towards your goals, bit by bit, every day.

Treat Failure as a Learning Experience.

The ultimate sign of grit is the ability to deal well with failure. A person with grit won't be destroyed when things go wrong. They'll learn from failure, and then they'll keep working on toward their goals. This is a key quality of successful leaders--and one that you can develop if you remember that failure is just a step on the road to success.

Now listen up

I am only going to say this once and it would just be nice if you concentrate on this for just 2 minutes forgoing every other thing for its sake

There is no JOB out there
Infact the Nigeria of today is a Country where jobs are being LOST on daily basis.

Those who were in employment yesterday, report to the office today and find out that they have been logged out of their systems, signifying that their jobs are gone. They cry and wail and ask questions, but no one is giving any answers.

So if you are still carrying your credentials around, you need to become wiser

And one of the wisest things any wise person can do at this present time is to EMPLOY HIM or HER SELF

You want to know how to employ yourself??

Then attend the one day Abuja Empowerment Workshop, holding this Saturday, by 10 am at Suite 37, Nandu Plaza, Zone 5 Wuse Abuja.

That program is one that you cannot afford to miss

If It Is Ordained, It Is Settled

My Friends

It's a brand new day and I thank God that we all woke up hale and hearty.

Now, let me tell you something; I can never get tired of saying thank You to God for each day I open my eyes after sleeping to behold the beauty of yet another day.

Appreciating God for that which He had done is one sure way of getting more done for me.

The other day, I was on a trip to deliver a training. Before fixing the date, I had sought clearance from Heaven and was assured that I would arrive safely.

That morning, before departing, I asked for two things - grace and mercy. And because I wanted to arrive early, I took off early but 45 minutes into my journey, the brake system of the car brought us to a halt; I had to go back to base for the Mechanic to fix it which he did to our satisfaction and we took off again after spending two hours and some minutes at the Mechanic's place.

Two hours into the journey, the brake system gave way again and this happened just some few meters to a Mechanic's workshop. I branched into the workshop and the Mechanic and his boys went to work, one hour later, we were good to go.
And go we did, and there were no more incidents until we arrived.

Now, the surprising thing is that because of the very BAD ROADS, we were unable to fire well and had to be literally "crawling" BUT darkness did not becloud our vision until we ARRIVED.

You know that we are having shorter days and longer nights now, by 6.45 pm, darkness has already descended.

So it was surprising to us that we still experienced light until about 7.30 pm when we arrived and then DARKNESS fell.

Wonderful

Did God grant my request for grace and mercy - oh sure He did and that's why I say that though we may choose our paths, but God directs our steps and whatever He has ordained must surely come to fulfillment but not necessarily the way we expect it.

Glory be to His Holy Name

What to Do With 1,000 Marbles

By Mark Ford

The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings.  Perhaps it’s the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it’s the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable.

A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the basement “shack” with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other. What began as a typical Saturday morning turned into one of those lessons that life seems to hand you from time to time.

I turned the dial up into the phone portion of the band on my ham radio in order to listen to a Saturday morning swap net. Along the way, I came across an older-sounding chap with a tremendous signal and a golden voice. You know the kind . . . he sounded like he should be in the broadcasting business. He was telling whomever he was talking with something about “1,000 marbles.”

I was intrigued and stopped to listen to what he had to say.

“Well, Tom, It sure sounds like you’re busy with your job. I’m sure they pay you well, but it’s a shame you have to be away from home and your family so much. It’s hard to believe a young fellow should have to work 60 or 70 hours a week to make ends meet. Too bad you missed your daughter’s dance recital.” He continued. “Let me tell you something, Tom. Something that has helped me keep a good perspective on my own priorities.” And that’s when he began to explain the “1,000 marbles.”

“You see, I sat down one day and did a little arithmetic. The average person lives about 75 years. I know, some live more and some live less, but on average, folks live about 75 years. Now then, I multiplied 75 times 52, and I came up with 3,900, which is the number of Saturdays that the average person has in an entire lifetime.
