13 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

13 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

GOD'S PROMISE:

88. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Rom. 1:16

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HEART:

88. Tune Out Stress

Blood pressure surges in the morning. But listening to music instead of Howard Stern can help control it, reducing your chances of a morning coronary.

THURSDAY IS IT

THURSDAY                                                             19. 12. 13

Good morning my friends

It’s a brand new day

Even though it is called Thursday like other Thursdays that have passed but this Thursday is special.

Before today, there had been no Thursday like it and when it is gone, there would be none like it. So what we ought to do with it?

Each and every day begins with a clean virgin slate, so that no matter what you did yesterday, today begins anew and you have the same rights, opportunities and priviledges as any other person to get the best out of the day as you want.

In some parlance, it is said that yesterday is a cancelled cheque, tomorrow is a promissory note, only today is a present, so you are asked to live in the NOW.

What does it mean to live in the now?
To live in such a way that the carryovers, leftovers and hangovers of yesterday do not spoil the fun of living today.

So whatever happened to you yesterday has been become history and no matter how much you berate yourself for that mistake, it has been made means that it has been made, so look beyond it but learn a lesson or two from it. Live the life that you were born to live. Remember that the only Person to Whom you owe an account is your God or Creator because He is the Author and Finisher of your faith, other mortals are only there to criticize and condemn, pay less heed to them!!!!!

Today is the cash that you have my friend, SPEND IT WELL.

IT’S IN YOU

Every day as I always do, remind yourself that it is good to be alive
So, go make the most of it.

Have a great day
And I’ll see you on the morrow

Today
Bless and be Blessed

Remember that I love you as always!!!!!!!

14 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

14 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

GOD'S PROMISE:

87. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Isa. 54:10

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HEART:

87. Eat Fresh Berries

Strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries are all loaded with salicylic acid—the same heart-disease fighter found in aspirin.

IT'S THE MID WEEK

WEDNESDAY                                                         18. 12. 13

Greetings of the new day.
All thanks to God for bringing us back to base, we can never thank Him enough

Another day is here, the middle of the week, a day to reflect on the actions and activities of the past 2 days

What’s your score sheet like?

Remember that the man who lies to himself is sitting on a time bomb and when the bomb explodes, every thing would be gone.

In your review today of what you have been able to achieve in the past two days of this week, BE SINCERE to yourself.

Don’t sell a dummy to yourself and don’t give a counterfeit coin to your mother-in-law, it is still rotating within the confines of your relatives.

Every day as I always do, remind yourself that it is good to be alive
So, go make the most of it.

Have a great day
And I’ll see you on the morrow

Today
Bless and be Blessed

Remember that I love you as always!!!!!!!

15 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

15 DAYS TO GO TO THE END OF 2013

GOD'S PROMISE:

86. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with His Hand. Ps. 37:24

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HEART:

86. Use the Free Blood-Pressure Test (Wisely)

Most of the free blood-pressure-monitoring machines found in pharmacies aren't 100 percent accurate. According to a Canadian study, the machines can be off by an average of 8 points systolic and 4 points diastolic per reading. Check your BP three times, then average the readings.

THANK GOD FOR TUESDAY

TUESDAY                                                                17. 12. 13

Greetings of the new day to you all my friends, well-wishers and family/relatives.

I thank Jehovah God Almighty Whose mercies abideth forever for this wonderful miracle of bringing my family and I back to this land of milk and honey, I am also certain that you and yours benefited from this miracle. May His Holy Name be forever praised with our hearts, minds and souls – Amen

It’s Tuesday, the 17th day of this 12th month of this year 2013, it is 8 DAYS to CHRISTMAS.

Did you set any target for the month of December? Are you on the way to meeting it up? Are there some things still waiting to be done? Well I have two pieces of news for you – the good news and the bad news.

The good news is that every new morning provides us with the opportunity to do that which we ought to have done yesterday, to make those moves we ought to have made, to refresh those dying relationships we ought to have tailored, to say those kind words to our loved ones we ought to have said days back, to go out of our way and welcome that new neighbour in our neighbourhood whom we ought to have shown some welcoming love since s/he parked over, and also to know that we ought to be dotting all the I’s and crossing all the T’s preparing to transit from one month to another.

And the bad news is --------------------------- hmmm , sorry to disappoint you but THERE IS NO BAD NEWS

So my friend, get ready to hand 2013 over to 2014 and to also hand over December to January and as you do that “fret not over things that would have been, a new month gives us a new lease of life, another opportunity to take a “breath of FRESH AIR””
Every day as I always do, remind yourself that it is good to be alive
So, go make the most of it.

Have a great day
And I’ll see you on the morrow

Today
Bless and be Blessed

Remember that I love you as always!!!!!!!

GOD IS IN CONTROL

TODAY

I just want you to know that

God Is In Control

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He
shall direct thy paths.    Proverbs 3:5-6

In these unsettling times we live in, with war and rumors of war all over the world, it is important for us to remember that God does not have a "Plan B".

Somehow, we seem to think that if something doesn't go right, God has to change His plan. That is something we often have to do, because we are fallible, imperfect humans. But it is not something God has to do. Our Heavenly Father knows exactly what is going on at all times, everywhere, and is always in complete control of every situation.

To us, something may seem like a total disaster, but we would do well to realize that God is ALWAYS in control, and always knows what He is doing.

We may not understand why something is happening, or even what is happening, but then, we don’t have to understand. That’s beyond our capabilities. It’s God’s job to know and understand. It's our job to trust Him, and to bring all our prayers and supplications before Him.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

No matter how powerful they may be, every higher power in the world exists only because God has a reason for it. He has ordained every power for His own purpose, and we don’t have to know why. We only have to trust Him, and be faithful in praying for His guidance, His direction, and His intercession in our behalf.

And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings. (Daniel 2:21)

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Romans 13:1

Every government in the world exists because it is a part of God's master plan. Every act committed by every government is known to God, and does not come as a surprise to Him. They each serve His purpose, whether they realize it or not. Scriptures tell us that they are ordained by God. God reigns over the heathen every bit as much as He reigns over the Godly.

God reigns over the heathen: God sits upon the throne of his holiness. (Psalm 47:8)

When a tragedy occurs, it doesn't catch God off guard. For instance, God did not look down upon the earth on the morning of 9/11 and think to himself, "Oh, no! Someone has flown a plane into the World Trade Center! What am I going to do now?" Our Creator is almighty, omnipotent, and omniscient. He never has to re-think His position, or resort to "Plan B". No, God is in control of every situation, all over the world, all the time.

This is true of individuals, as well. God is always in control. When something bad happens in the life of a Christian, it is comforting to know that if God allowed it, He will get us through it. That's right!

Somehow, our God is so awesome, He can bring good out of even the worst times and events of our lives. The Bible tells us:

"For we know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord, that are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Did you catch that word, "expected'? It wasn't a surprise to God.

When we are devastated by circumstances or events beyond our control, we need to bring all our doubts and fears before our Heavenly Father. He already knows them, anyway, but He wants us to bring them to Him. As parents, we want our child to come to us, so we can talk about the child's fears and doubts, and then put them to rest. Our Heavenly Father to do the same.

God knows our every thought. He knows what we are going to do before we do it. He is never surprised or caught off guard.

Why do we worry so much about what's happening, instead of bringing our worries to the only One who can do something about them?

When are we going to realize that no matter what is happening in our lives or in the world; no matter how bad things seem, no matter how messed up things might be, GOD IS IN CONTROL !!!

No, we do not have to worry, even when things are happening that we do not understand. God is in control. All He wants us to do is trust Him, and Talk to Him.

Take time to pray! Yes start at the wake of dawn by having your first activity by your "quiet time" with the Lord.

Blessings and regards

Culled
