Concerning Time - I Have News For You

One of the big mistakes we make in life if not the biggest is that "We think we have all the time in the World"

And because of that, we pontificate, we prevaricate, we postpone for tomorrow what can be done today, we procrastinate, we lazy around hoping for a better tomorrow when we are not working on it today.

Yes, time is free but it's priceless

You can't own it but you can use it
You can't keep it but you can spend it and once it's lost you can never get it back and no one can ever turn back the hands of time

The average person lives 78 years
We spend twenty-eight point three years of our lives sleeping that's almost a third of our life but thirty percent of us struggle to sleep well

We spend ten point five years of our life working but over 50 percent of us want to leave our current jobs

Time is more valuable than money you can get more money but you can never get more time

We spend nine years on TV and social media

We spend six years doing chores

We spend four years eating and drinking

We spend three and a half years in education

We spend two and a half years grooming

We spend two and a half years shopping

We spend one and a half years in childcare

And we spend one point three years commuting

That leaves us with nine years
how will we spend that time?

Steve Jobs
said "your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life"

So, here's the news I have for you

There's good news and there's bad news

The bad news is 'time flies' and the good news is 'you're the pilot'

Imagine you wake up every day with 86, 400 dollars in your bank account and at the end of the night it's all gone, whether you spent it or not and then the next day you get another eighty-six thousand four hundred dollars

What would we do with it?

In like manner every day 86,400 seconds are deposited into your life account

at the end of the day, that amount of time is gone, whether you use it profitably or not.

once they're all used up you get another new 86,400 seconds for the next day and so on

Certainly, we would never waste 86, 400 dollars if we have to spend it all in one day.

Surely we must find quality projects to carry out and interests to expand and share.

So then, why do we waste our time

those 86, 400 seconds are so much more powerful than the dollars because you can always make more dollars you can't always make more time

To realize the value of one year ask a student who failed a grade, who has to repeat a Class

To realize the value of one month ask a mother who lost their child in the final month

To realize the value of one week ask the Editor of an online magazine

To realize the value of one hour, ask the couple who's in a long-distance relationship

To realize the value of one minute ask the person who just missed a bus or train or plane

To realize the value of one second ask the person who just missed an accident

And to realize the value of a mili second ask the person who just came second at the Olympics

We think that it's people wasting our time but it's really us giving them the permission to do that

And in reality, these two people live inside us

don't let someone be a priority to you when all you are to them is an option

Some of us lose the people most important to us because we don't value their time

Some of us don't recognize how important someone is to us until they're gone

Inside all of us are two voices one voice that wants to uplift us, wants us to expand and grow

And then there's the other voice
the voice that holds us back, makes us lazy and makes us complacent, thus restricting us from the realization of our full  potential

Every day from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep inside of us there's this battle between the two voices and guess which one wins
the one that we listen to
the one that we feed
the one that we amplify

It is our choice of how we use our time

Life and time are the two best Teachers

Life teaches us to make good use of time
and time teaches us the value of life

And as William Shakespeare said "time is very slow for those who want, very fast for those who are scared, very long for those who are sad, very short for those who celebrate but for those who love time is eternal"

Start making wise use of your time today

Top Ten Tips For Fast Success From Jack Canfield

Jack Canfield is the originator of the Chicken Soup For The Soul books, the wildly successful series that has sold over 120 million copies worldwide

Canfield has also authored a number of books on the topic of personal development and success and gives speeches worldwide to business executives, entrepreneurs and sales executives on how to achieve peak performance.

If anyone has the credentials to talk about success, it’s Jack Canfield.

Luckily for us, he believes in inspiring and empowering others to do the same.

The best thing about Canfield's approach - his methods are clear, concise, and easily applicable.

So, if you're feeling stuck in life, here are ten tips to get you back on track.

1.     Change Your Thoughts -

Your current mindset is what has gotten you to this point.

If you desire change, you need new thought patterns.

Instead of thinking about how you're not qualified for a job, think about what you need to learn to become qualified.

2.     Take 100% Responsibility for Everything in Your Life -

Only by taking full responsibility for your life can you make positive changes.

This approach means no finger pointing, no playing the victim, and no blaming your life on your circumstances.

Forget blaming others. Instead, take action.

3.     Find a Mentor -

You know the old 10,000-hour rule, well you can cut that time down by finding a mentor.

By learning from people who have achieved what you desire, you can jumpstart your career progress.

4.     Do More Than What's Expected

Don't spend time worrying about the idea that you're not getting paid enough.

Instead, think about what you could be doing that would lead to an eventual increase in pay.

Continue building your skills until you're invaluable.

The big bucks will follow.

5.      Find Your Core Genius -

Look, you're better at certain things than others. It's a fact of life.

So put in time honing skills that fall into your core genius categories, and you will excel at a faster rate.

Top 10 Tips For Entrepreneurial Success by Richard Branson

Richard Branson left school at the age of 16 and set up Student Magazine with one of his friends.

He went on to start Virgin Records in the 1970s and is the founder of the Virgin Group.

In the 1980s he formed Virgin Atlantic airline and the 1990s saw the arrival of Virgin Mobile and Virgin Trains.

He is one of the most successful businessmen in the UK and an icon of entrepreneurship for which he was Knighted by the Queen of England - Queen Elizabeth the 2nd

His latest project is Virgin Galactic, which he hopes will one day become a space tourism company.

Here are his Top Ten Tips for entrepreneurial success:

1.     Follow Your Dream And Just Do It

Follow your dreams, get involved in life, in the things that interest you. If you are going to create a business, make sure it is your hobby, your passion or something that you really enjoy.
You will live a much better life that way. Don't just set out to do something for the sake of making money.

I think lots of people have lots of great ideas, but very few people actually go out and try to put them into practice.

There are lots of people who think that somebody must have done that before, or you'll never raise the money or you shouldn't take a risk in life.

It's the people who say I'm just going to do it, that end up having a chance of having a much more exciting and rewarding life.

2.     Believe In Your Ideas And Be The Best

You definitely need to believe in your idea. There's really no point in doing something in life unless people feel really good about it and proud about it.

You've got to have the passion for it and you've got to be able to inspire other people to have a passion for it too.

If an idea is a good idea you should be able to pitch it in two or three sentences and two or three sentences fit very neatly on the back of an envelope.

There was no point creating a new airline unless it was going to be palpably better than every other airline in the world, you've got to make sure that every aspect of what you do is better than the competition.

3.     Don't Give Up

It's extremely important not to give up. There have been situations in my adventures, like crossing the Pacific in a balloon, where the odds were stacked very heavily against us surviving.

Being an entrepreneur is not that dissimilar to being an adventurer.

You have plenty of situations where your back is right up against a wall and you've just got to work day and night to make sure you overcome the difficulties a particular company finds itself in.

Brush yourself down the next day and move on into something else.

I think I'm reasonably good at dealing with failure and not letting it get me down for more than an hour or two as long as I put everything I can into avoiding it.

4.     Make A Positive Difference And Do Some Good

The first thing to do if you want to become an entrepreneur is basically to have an idea that is going to make a positive difference to other people's lives.

A business is simply that.

If you're running a business you are in a position where you can make a hell of a difference in this world.

I also think it's great for the staff of a company that they can feel good about a company that is actually getting out there and doing good.

5.     Have Fun and Look After Your Team

I 100% believe that it's important to have fun and if you're not having fun anymore, it might be time to move on.

You should have fun from the top down and create the kind of environment that's pleasant to work in.

Make sure that you've got the kinds of people running your companies who genuinely care about people, who look for the best in people and who praise and don't destructively criticize.

People are not that, unlike flowers. If a flower is watered it flourishes and if a flower is not watered it dries up and dies and I think the same applies to people.

What Is Success?

In this Blog Post, I am answering some questions that have been asked by millions of people over time - such as What is Success?, Why is Success Important In Life?, Who Is A Successful Person?, How Can One Achieve Success?

In starting, I would like to mention right away that each and every one of us has the success gene embedded in our DNA and so if any of us is experiencing any challenges in being successful, it only means that s/he has not activated that success gene and therefore needs to do that pronto.

What is Success?

Success is simply the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

Success is a journey and not a destination

The dictionary describes success as the following: “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame”.

Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals.

Furthermore, success can be a certain social status that describes a prosperous person that could also have gained fame for its favorable outcome.

Why is Success Important In Life?

Life is lived so that we can achieve our utmost desires, hopes, and dreams.

We all see ourselves somewhere in the distant future; we all have goals, dreams, and aspirations.

Success means achieving those goals; it means that you can get what you've always wanted.

And in a way, being successful is realizing your goals and aspirations; that's why it is so important

Who Is A Successful Person?

A successful person is one who has been able to achieve a balance in work and life. Such a person has mastered the art of maximizing his or her presence where-ever s/he may be.

Successful people are confident and can lead themselves, as well as others.

They have their own vision and mission and seek to bring it to life on a daily basis.

They also know who they aren't and don't waste time on things that they aren't good at or they aren't satisfied with.

How Can One Achieve Success?

There is a very simple format to use in any field of endeavour to achieve success.

a.      Desire
b.      Believe
c.      Visualize
d.      Goals
e.      Plan
f.       Action (Work the Plan)

Achieving goals is powerful and affects our success in life.

When we dare to dream about what we truly desire and set goals in that direction, a powerful shift happens.

Life is now lived with greater direction and purpose.

Whatever It Is, Go Do It

My Monday Motivational

Whatever It Is, Go Do It

As I learned from New York Times Bestselling Author, John Assaraf, what happens when most people learn something new is that, because it causes a mental disruption, the mind actually begins to create false doubts, fears, and anxiety around the idea.

Then, for most people, this causes them to self-sabotage in order to get back to where they are very comfortable.

WHOA WHOA WHOA — That got deeeeeeeeep.

Let’s slow it down a little and try to make some sense of all this.

First things first, let’s look at what makes people successful.

Step 1 - Gather all the knowledge needed to be successful

Get them in books
Attend Training, Seminars, Workshops, Conferences
Attend Networking events
Interview those who have made it in the field you are in

Step 2 - Apply the knowledge

That’s about it.

Interestingly enough, though, most people are only able to achieve Step 1.

When it comes to Step 2, you let yourself get in your own way.

Look, the only person stopping you from achieving anything you decide you want is YOU.

How do you get past your own mental barriers?

You simply have to dive in head first and take action.

No matter how small it is, or how insignificant you think it may be, make that first move.

I want you to say, “To hell with the norm,” and prove the statistics wrong.

Don’t wait until later.

Don’t say you’ll get started tomorrow.
Today is the day and NOW is the time

You want to get into Vlogging or Blogging or Online Business, register the domain name, create the Blog or the Online Business or pull out your camera phone, and just start shooting.

Somewhere, the Universe shall take it from where you have started

Remember Heaven helps those who help themselves..

So, stop waiting, stop prevaricating, stop procrastinating

...Whatever it is, just do it!

And just do it NOW
