If Not For God ...............

If not for God, Who shielded me when the evil darts were being thrown at me,

What would have become of me?

If not for God, Who took me under His Mighty Wings when the storm of life was raging and blowing at it's fiercest,

Where would I have been?

If not for God, Who enveloped me when the ethereal spirits were pressing down on me while sleeping,

Would I have been here this time again?

If not for God, Who carried me on His Big Back, when I was faint and weary from the struggles of existence,

Would I have been able to take another step?

If not for God, Who spoke out for me, when men laid spurious allegations and accusations against me,

Would I still have any honour left?

If not for God, Who brought me back from the brink of despair, when men and women and even those of my household had given up on me,

Would I have been able to smile ever again?

If not for God, Who tapped me on the should and said "Son, it's time to wake up and see the morn outside"

Would I have been awake?

Oh how I love ascribing all the Glory to Him - My God, In Whom I 'live and move and have my being"

How I love running into His safe Big Hands when travails mount one on the other?

How He loves to comfort me.

How much I love to adore Him and worship Him

Father, just to let You know that today, I worship You alone, Almighty God, there is none like You.

Take all the Glory Lord and let no man share in it at all, because You would never let any man that the glory that is Yours and Yours alone.

Friends, it's wonderful to be alive in the land of the living, there is nothing like it and if you doubt it, then go and ask a dead person and hear his or her response.

While you have life, LIVE IT
