One day
all the employees of a large multinational Company reached the office and they saw a big cardboard paper hung on
the entrance with this advise written on it: “Yesterday the person who has been
hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the
funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym”.
As each
person read it, s/he got very sad on the death of one of their colleagues, but
after a while they reasoned that it must be the best thing to happen and that
now they can make progress and so they started getting curious to know who was
that person who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company
itself.
As they strolled down to the gym discussing in hushed tones, there was so much excitement in the gym which necessitated that security personnel were ordered to control the crowd within the room.
The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement
heated up.
Everyone thought: “Who is this guy who was hindering my
progress? Well, at least he died!”
The employees were allowed to go to see the "body"
in the coffin one by one and each one that went to the coffin, saw not a body
but a reflection of themselves because inside the coffin was a mirror and on it
was written, "this is the person who had hindered your progress all these
years, KILL IT NOW"
Each person that went to the coffin with a veiled smile on
his or her face, came out in shock and in silence as if someone had touched the
deepest part of their soul.
And the conclusion was that YOU ARE YOUR GREATEST ENEMY for
as long as you refuse to take bold steps to actualize your dreams, as long as
you limit yourself in your thoughts, as long as you wait for fair weather
before planting your seed, you are your own enemy.
You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You
are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your
success. You are the only person who can help yourself. Your life does not
change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your partner
changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you
go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible
for your life.
“The most important relationship you can have is the one you
have with yourself” .
Moral: The world is like a mirror: it gives back to anyone
the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed.
The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a
coffin, which show to any individual the death of his divine capability to
imagine and create his happiness and his success.
It’s the way you face Life that makes the difference.
