Greetings of the new day.

I really thank God Almighty for His grace upon our lives that saw us through to this day even though the enemy did all it could to prevent us from coming into it, but our Eternal Protector put His Feet down and said NO and that is why we are here today. May all glory, honour, dominion and majesty be His for ever and ever – Amen.

It’s a holiday!!!!!!!

The muslim festival of Id El Fitir is being celebrated today and as is traditional, the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared today and tomorrow as public holidays, so it would be a long weekend.

Public holidays provide us with opportunities to “flex” a little more, to do those things which the jobs we do during the working week give us no opportunity to do, however in this present day and age, especially in “attack – prone” areas, it is important that we be eternally vigilant so that we do not suffer undue and unnecessary debilities.

Keep away from crowded areas, avoid strangers, keep far away from beautifully wrapped parcels that may be lying carelessly around, accept no parcels from any one, shield your kids from the uncommon attention of even a “friend” in this era, it has become very difficult to make distinctions between a friend and a “frenemy”

If you must go to a public relaxation spot, take due care and do your due diligence.

All said and done, don’t allow these concerns spoil your day for you and make you unable to have fun, just be EXTRA VIGILANT. Our Father in Heaven and Who is our God shall continue to protect us from the evil machinations of those who would rather die than live.

Every day as I always do, remind yourself that it is good to be alive
So, go make the most of it.
