As September Ends

Finally the 9th month of the year popularly called and addressed as September is on its way out because by 12 midnight today, it would be consigned into the bin of history and there can be no undoing of the things already done in it except in the remembrance of them.

It's a bit surprising (but is it really?) that this year 2016 is already entering the last quarter meaning that in about 90 days from today or thereabout we shall be bidding good bye to 2016!

And yet, it looks like it was just yesterday that we heralded its arrival with expectant hopes and lofty aspirations.

So, how did you treat September? or put the other way, how did September treat you?

Just pick your pen and paper and write them down, then ruminate over them so that you can position yourself well in handling the incoming new month

But no matter what happened or what did not happen, God allowed you into September and He has allowed you to see the end of it, and I am sure that His plan is not just to allow you see the end of 2016 but also the end of many more years in front.

Today, be grateful to Him
Just tell Him thank You

Have a great day

Do You ...........

Do you sometimes feel that life is not worth all the struggles after all?
Do you sometimes think that it's all useless to keep waging wars on all fronts?
Do you get depressed that you are not what you wanted to be?
Do you sit down and moan that life has not been fair to you?

Well, if you answered Yes to one or all of the above questions, then just know that you are not alone

I have been through that phase of life too

I have suffered deprivation, lack, betrayals, outright blackmails, rejection by even those who streamed from the same womb as me, many wars have been brought to my sides, I know how it feels.

But you see, instead of quitting and giving up, I had doubled my efforts
instead of sitting at one place and moaning, I had put vaseline on my weary feet and taken a long walk
instead of blaming life for being unfair, I had looked life in its large face and demanded of it exactly what I wanted
instead of taking up wars on all fronts as were brought to me, I had been forced to learn the virtue of patience and long suffering and it has helped to wear some of the war mongers out

And the result?

To the Glory of God, I am just exactly what I had ever wanted to be
it has given me joy and peace of mind. I sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

I appropriated the grace of God which is very ubiquitous and it increased me

You can also do likewise

Take a long look at all the things that are bothering you today; just pick one of them and concentrate on sorting it, then go ahead and do it.

You sure would have a testimony of your own

God bless you real good

A New Day To Soar Like The Eagle

Just as I was transiting from the land of the unknown to the land of the living this morning, the word SOAR kept repeating itself in my head.

At a point, I had to say it loud and then as I thought about it, it appears like I am to give someone that word so that he or she can know that all hope is not lost

It is easy to be dumbfounded about the things going on right now in Nigeria - of all the lies and deception; of the propaganda; of the numerous guffaws that have trailed this Government in Power, of the heartlessness in administration

It is easy to be confused of our position in the Lord because of the things happening around us

It is easy to lose hope as if none is in sight

It is easy to give in to the hopelessness, pervading poverty, dangerous hunger, unmitigated joblessness that surround us.

But this morning, I am bringing you a message of hope - You shall soar again.

Do not mind the wicked people presiding over the affairs of this Nation,
their time is set and it is not FOREVER

Instead of sitting at one place and bemoaning your fate, take your destiny in your hands and run with it

Find something to keep your hands busy - but let them be genuine and legitimate things because those who must kill to arrive at success would have death waiting as the sentinel at their doors.

Give yourself wings and soar above the missiles and darts of those who are desperate to continue raping Nigeria and those who are deaf to the cries of the masses including those who have gone dumb because they made a mistake in asking for support for the despots in power.

The eagle never gives up on what it considers sacrosanct.

For as long as God allows you, your life is sacrosanct. Don't give up on it

Today, take this challenge, rise up, wing yourself and soar above the clouds like the eagles do

Have a wonderful day

8 Ways To Conquer Self-Worth Insecurities

Social media has a lot of benefits, but it has done a good job of exposing our ugly insecurities that we’ve always tried to conceal.

Think about it: if you’ve always suffered from body image issues, the first thing that will pop up on social media is another woman flaunting
her perfectly sculpted body that makes you want to skip eating for a week and sign up for a gym membership.

If you are anxious to settle down and get married, it will seem like everyone is posting recent engagement videos that you can’t help
but watching every second of.

And if you’re between jobs or stuck in a career that makes you cringe to get up on Monday mornings, you’ll be bombarded with photos of friends bragging about the job that they love and are financially stable in. All you can do is wish you had that job.

Here are 8 things you can do to conquer yourself worth insecurities and feel better about yourself.

Know Your Worth: 8 Ways to Feel Better About Yourself

“Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It’s not like you have forever, so don’t waste any of your seconds, don’t throw even one of your moments away.” ~ C. JoyBell C.

I’m not going to tell you to stop focusing on everything that is going on around you; telling you to stop doing this will cause you to focus on it even more.
So here are 8 things you can do to conquer your self worth insecurities and feel better about yourself.

As soon as you open your eyes, grab your pen and paper and jot down three things you are grateful for.

It’s important to do it as soon as you wake up before your mind starts drifting off, thinking about what you don’t have and how much you still need to do.

2. Positive Affirmations
Start lifting yourself up by repeating words of affirmations that confirm you are an amazing person.

Check out these affirmations to get you started.

Choose at least five daily affirmations that you can repeatedly say in the mirror.

When you can look yourself in the eyes and repeat uplifting words, you start to believe and feel everything that you are saying.

3. Consume Powerful External Messages
Read books. Listen to podcasts. Watch Ted Talks. Do whatever it takes to energize your mind with positive thoughts.

If you are seeking more books to add to your list, check out Think and Grow Rick by Napoleon Hill and Infinite Possibilities by Mike Dooley.

These books will prepare your mind to attract everything that you want.

You need to increase your energy and feel better about you.

When you are exercising, you don’t have time to compare yourself to others in a negative way because you are so focused on finishing your workout.

Try these quick 30-day exercise challenges in order to build up your physical stamina.

5. Create a Vision Board
What do you want to receive or achieve?

Cut out pictures that demonstrate your dream life and add them to a board. Pinterest has tons of vision board samples to get you started.

Make sure your vision board is located in a place where you can look at it as soon as you wake up.

This vision should be so powerful that you wake up before your alarm clock goes off every morning.

And if you are guilty of hitting the snooze button every five minutes, your vision has to be really compelling.

6. Get an Accountability Partner
It’s easier to start a goal versus completing a goal. But don’t think you have to be superbeing and do it all on your own.

Enlist an accountability partner; preferably someone who won’t take no for an answer when you are tired and feel like cheating on your goals.

Having accountability is the fastest way to accelerate your progress.

7. Document Your Success
Every little thing you do counts. Don’t diminish the value of the work that you consistently do every day.

If you got up 15 minutes earlier to meditate, document it.

If you sent an email about that opportunity you’ve always wanted to go after, pat yourself on the back for taking the first step.

If you finished that blog article that you’ve been trying to write for weeks, celebrate your success.

When you reward yourself for the small things, you prepare your mind to accomplish even greater things.

Plus, it feels good to see progress. It’s proof of what you can accomplish when you stay focused.

And you are capable of much more than you think you are.

8. Lift Others Up

If you want to feel better about yourself, make those around you feel like all-stars.

Whether its posting words of motivation on social media, congratulating someone else on a recent award, or recommending someone else for a new opportunity, always find ways to help showcase the talent of others.

The more positive you can see in others, the more you begin to see in yourself.

If you follow these confidence-boosting tips every day, you won’t have time to think about what everyone else is doing.

You’ll be making so much progress in your life that everyone will be asking about the new glow on your face.

And you gat me here

Just get in touch

6 Benefits Of Failure

Fall and Get Up: 6 Benefits of Failure

While failure can be a disheartening experience, it’s certainly not a useless one. Everyone will fail at something in their lives – they may even fail at the same task numerous times before they actually master it.

Failure is a part of the process, and while you may not see it as beneficial on the surface, there’s a lot of value underneath it all.

1.      You’ll Gain Experience
Every time you attempt a task, you’re gaining experience. This is true whether you fail or succeed.
You’ll gain more experience with repetitive failed attempts. Over time, the experience will make the task easier for you.

Failing a few times can help you succeed.

2.      You’ll Discover Your Strengths and Weaknesses
What part of the project are you the best at? It’s unlikely you’re having difficulty with all of it.

There may be a few areas in which you really shine. If you learn your strengths during the process, you’ll be able to apply them more efficiently.

Identifying where you could use some help will allow you to isolate and develop on your weaknesses.

3.      You’ll Learn to Innovate
Why did you fail? This is a question you need to be able to answer objectively.

Along the way, there was some part of the project that wasn’t working.

Either the method was inefficient, or it was counter-intuitive to your abilities. See if you can plan a second attempt at the project where you can work around the bumps in the road.

With creative thinking, you can accomplish anything.

4.      You’ll Determine How to Use Your Time
The parts of the project that didn’t work out were ultimately a waste of your time.

You can’t get that time back, but learning what went wrong can help you budget your time better in the future.

Did you need to spend a whole day focusing on one aspect of the project that would only fall through? Probably not. You’ll be able to find more efficient ways to accomplish more with less time.

5.      You Can Unlearn Counterproductive Lessons
You may have failed because of the way you were trained to approach certain tasks.

If your mindset was all wrong, it veered you away from success.

Think about the lessons you’ve been taught that you applied to the project. It may be time to unlearn those lessons, finding new ways to approach the same issues with better finesse.

6.      You’ll Build a Stronger Resolve
You need to accept that sometimes failure is inevitable. Maybe you tried before you were truly ready, or you didn’t have enough knowledge going into a task.

Failure is a natural part of life, and it will affect everyone.

Allowing yourself to feel defeated won’t get you anywhere.

Always recognize that failure is a possibility – you just can’t let it stop you.

Letting go of your fear of failure will provide you with the freedom to try new things.

If they don’t work out, you know you can always pull yourself up by your bootstraps and give it another go.

Think about all of your heroes. Even the people who are the best at what they do have had to fail countless times to get to where they are now.

They never let failure stand in their way, and neither should you.

Don’t stifle your talent.

Keep learning and growing.
